Honeymoon

I changed into some shorts and a tank top. Odell and I had packed up and were leaving for our honeymoon. We were going somewhere warm, and that was all I knew. Odell wanted it to be a surprise. We walked down the sidewalk as everyone threw rice on us. Odell and I kissed Avalon goodbye and got in the car. My mother was keeping her while we were gone.

I rested my head on Odell's shoulder as we rode in silence. We held hands. I wondered if he was as nervous as I was. We were married now, and it was very much official. He rested his other hand down on our hands, and it made me look up into his eyes. How long had he been watching me?

"You're shaking," he said to me.

I frowned, looking down. "Sorry."

He cupped my chin, making me look back up at him. "Are you okay?"

I nodded my head quickly, a little too fast. I didn't want him to think anything negative.

"I'm just nervous. I'm a wife now, after all," I told him honestly.

"Trust me, I get it," he chuckled. "I'm just as nervous. I don't want to do or say the wrong thing."

I was glad to know he was feeling the exact way that I was. Knowing that I wasn't the only one feeling nervous made me relax, and I felt the difference. I leaned forward, and he leaned down. Our lips met, and just like that, he ignited something deep inside of me. I pressed my legs together more, as if it was going to stop the throb I felt down there.

He pulled back first. Looking down, I realized that his hand was on my leg, and he had a firm grip.

"Do you realize what you do to me?" His voice came out breathy.

I giggled. "Probably the same thing you do to me." That made him smile. He took my hand again and kissed the back of it.

~Hawaii~

When we arrived, we were greeted by people who gave us lei's and welcomed us with an "Aloha." I smiled at them and thanked them.

"You ready?" Odell came up from behind me.

My God, he was sexy. I nodded my head, and he slid his hand in mine and gave my hand a squeeze. I kissed the back of his hand as he led us through the island to the cart that would take us to our little hut for the month. Yes, we were staying for a month.

When we got to our private villa, I lay on the bed. The doors were open, and there was an amazing breeze. The air was filled with the smell of the ocean and Odell's cologne.

"What do you think?" He asked me?

"Beautiful, baby. Anywhere with you is beautiful." I opened my eyes and looked up at him. He was towering over me.

He lifted my body and placed me further up on the bed. He laid me on his chest, and before I knew it, I was asleep.

~Hours later~

I woke to the sun beginning to set. Odell was nowhere to be found. I got out of bed and walked to the door, looking out at the ocean. The water looked so amazing that I definitely had to take a dip in it.

I heard the door open and turned around. Odell walked in carrying a tray full of food. I smiled and walked over to him.

"Are you feeling okay?" he asked me. It was a long flight.

"Yes, just jet-lagged. What have you got there?" I asked, peeking over the tray.

He placed the tray on the bed and pulled me close. He leaned down and kissed my lips. We were married, and this was just the beginning.

A few hours later, Odell and I were in the private pool—well, jacuzzi. I sat on his lap, and we were making out. Something about him always drew me to him.

He pulled back. "I've got a serious question for you."

I looked at him. He didn't ask serious questions—well, except when he asked me to marry him. What was on his mind? "What's that, baby?"

"How many more children are we having?"

My eyes widen in surprise. Out of all the questions, he wants more children? "You want more children?"

"Absolutely. At least four or five in total."

Five! Wait a second now. I start to laugh, and he looks at me with a serious face, which makes me laugh harder. He doesn't move. After I calm down, I kiss his lips, then look up at him.

"How about this? Let's see how three goes, and then we can think about adding two more," I say.

"Three? We only have one right now." He looks at me. Then his eyes widen, and I smile at him. "You're pregnant again...with twins!?"

"Yes, I confirmed it on our way here. It's still early, so we have to take it slow." He pulled me closer to him and gave me a hug. I rested my head on his shoulder as he rubbed my back.

"Baby, this makes me so happy," he whispered in my ear.

"You make me happy. Our family makes me happy. Thank you for marrying me, Odell. I love you so much."

"I love you more." He scooped me up and took us to the shower.

We washed each other's backs, and then he took me in the shower. We didn't stop there; we did it everywhere, every day that we were there..

~A Month Later~

We arrived home, and I was exhausted once again. I barely made it to the bed before falling asleep. Odell was such a gentleman, bringing everything up. My mom would bring Avalon home later in the day. My mom told us how much she had missed us, so that was exciting.

Once Odell had brought all the bags up to my apartment, he lay in bed with me, pulled me into his chest, and fell asleep. When we woke up again, it was noon, and I was ravenous again. Pregnancy sucked sometimes.

We had an appointment at 2:00 to check on the babies. We got ready together.

"This weekend, I want to go look at houses,” Odell said as we got dressed.

“You have a house already, baby,” I told him.

“I sold it. Plus, we don’t need a mansion. I want a nice five-bedroom house with a finished basement and a big fenced-in yard. A place that we pick out together,” he explained.

Man, I got lucky. “Okay, baby. I’m excited. When did you sell the house?”

He shrugged. “I had August and Gabby do it while we were on vacation. We got $1.4 million for it.”

My mouth dropped. He said it like it was no big deal. My God, that’s a lot of money for a house. “That was your dream house, though.”

"That was a house for a bachelor with no family goals. You and our kids are my goals now." He came up behind me and hugged me. Damn, he was going to make me cry. We've only been married a month, but it felt like forever.

At the appointment, everything seemed good. Since I was carrying twins, they wanted to see me every two weeks until I reached 30 weeks, just to make sure everything was fine with the twins. I was 5 weeks along.

After the appointment, I decided to just send the ultrasound picture in the family group chat. I immediately got several texts and congratulations from everyone. Honestly, being five weeks along, I already had a belly, so it was best to tell them now.

Once we got home, my parents brought Avalon home. They stayed for an hour as we talked about the honeymoon and the twins. Avalon was excited to be getting siblings. After they left, we lay on the couch and watched "Frozen," Avalon's favorite movie. Avalon sat on Odell's lap, and I rested my head on his shoulder. Things were going to be good—no, things were going to be great.

Alright, guys, I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to read this far. I didn't think it would get this far, but here we are. There will be one more chapter as I wrap it all up. Still thinking about a book two, but we shall see. Thanks again!!!
