PARK JIMIN

Jimin strutted down the hall, having the eyes of those around him observe him keenly. His signature smirk planted itself at the attention given to him as he showed off his pearly whites. He heard quiet whispers surround him, hearing faint compliments and a few snarky comments. He never minded those, seeing as most of them came from other male students who potentially lost their girlfriends.

Jimin wasn't into women, but they were definitely into him. Some actually break up with their boyfriends in wishes to pursue him, believing they have a chance. He's made it more than clear of his disinterest in the opposite sex, but they can't seem to leave him be.

He didn't mind - he loves attention.

He headed to a specific location, spotting his cute blue haired friend from across the hall. His pink hair bounced as he sped over to where his friend stood.

"Taehyungie!", Jimin called out before throwing his body into his friend who stood a few inches taller.

The blue-haired boy jumped, startled at the sudden contact. He swiftly turned around at the familiar sound of the voice and returned the hug given to him.

"Minnie!", Taehyung grinned, showing his boxy smile that many adore. "You're late again, which means I'm late", he said as released the warm embrace.

"Who cares? We're ditching today anyway", Jimin told and looked around for the rest of his posse. "Where're the others?", he asked, earning a clue less shrug from the taller.

"We can't ditch school today. We have detention today, remember?", Taehyung informed, refreshing the memory of his mindless friend.

"Detention is not until after school, which means we can ditch!", Jimin grinned, a genuine smile, one opposed to his arrogant one. A smile only seen by his closest friends.

A surrendering sigh was heard as the taller ruffled his shiny blue hair. He felt a smaller hand take ahold his larger one, interlocking their fingers. He smiled at the action, not minding the fact that a simple gesture could have him melt away and put at ease.

They're matching with their contrasting colors blending well together as they continued down the hall to head off to god knows where. People glared at the two boys, seeing as they resembled a couple. Jimin never minded the thought of other believing the two were lovers. He couldn't blame them either. Him and Taehyung portrayed themselves as more than friends constantly.

Both constantly wore hair colors, complementary of one another - hinting the blue and pink. They both hung around each other 24/7 in and outside of school. They both were inseparable, especially when they were hand in hand with each other.

The two of them never felt feelings for one another. They even experimented with each other when they were younger, but never went beyond that. The two never saw and could never see each other in a romantic light. It's an agreement both silently shared.

"Oh, I have great news!", Jimin announced as they walked. He heard his friend hum, indicating for him to continue. "I will soon acquire my new boy toy!", he cheered, recalling last week's events.

"You mean your unrequited interest?"

"It won't be unrequited for long!", Jimin smiled. "He'll be living with me soon, so he'll have no other choice but to fall in love with me"

Taehyung coughed almost choking on his spit at the news.

"What do you mean?"

"Apparently his dad owes my father some money, which means...", Jimin trailed off, making a gun gesture towards his head.

"Holy shit...", Taehyung muttered with wide eyes. "What does that have do with him living with you?"

"Well, in order to save his lowlife daddy, I made a suggestion. One that appealed to my father more. All in all, I get to have Jungkookie instead! He'll be living with me until I get bored of him"

"Minnie, hold on", Taehyung said, pausing in his tracks. The two had already made it outside of the school and was about to approach the taller's car.

"I know you like him or whatever, but this is a little much. How do you think he's going to react living with someone he practically despises?", Taehyung frowned, seeing as his friend did not think this through properly.

"He'll probably cry tears of joy. Who wouldn't in his circumstance?", Jimin answered, avoiding the reality of the situation at hand.

"Oh he'll cry alright...", Taehyung remarked, shaking his head the smaller.

"Oh Tae, anyone would die to be in his position", Jimin defended. "And he should be grateful. I saved his poor dad and allowed him to soon live in luxury. What more can one ask for?"

"Honestly speaking, this seems to be all in your favor", Taehyung admitted, hearing his friend scoff at his words

"Would you rather the alternative?"

Silence caught the taller, seeing as how his friend was correct in a way. It is seemingly better for both parties to stay alive and somewhat well in the matter.

"I did this out of the kindness of my heart", Jimin said, feeling the lie slip through his lips with ease.

"Oh I wasn't aware you had one beating in that chest", Taehyung joked, poking the flat chest of his tiny friend.

"Ha-ha, hush up and drive. I'm hungry", Jimin commanded, opening the door to the passenger side of the vehicle.

"Yes my prince", Taehyung chuckled at his bossy companion, stepping to the driver side.

He backed up out of the designated parking area and sped off to god-knows-where. He had typed in a restaurant for him and Jimin to dine at, while they pass time til detention comes. He never understood the reason for his friend's need to rebel against all odds, but chose to stay with him regardless, no matter how he can be affected. It only proved his loyalty to the other.
