PARK JIMIN

A soft sigh escaped from the teen's lips as he awoke, eyes fluttering open. He felt a warm chest heave up and down against his head, hearing a steady heartbeat. He smiled, hugging the body he was entangled with closer. He enjoyed the comfort and desired for it to resume.

"Good morning, Minnie", a deep raspy voice announced and Jimin lifted up his head to observe the half naked person beneath him.

He grinned at his beautiful best friend, who stayed up all night with him to consolidate his hurt. The sight of a messy haired Taehyung brought him a small amount of happiness.

"Morning", Jimin replied, reluctantly sitting up on the bed, detaching himself from the warm body. He rubbed his tired, bloodshot eyes that portrayed his constant crying throughout the night.

"Are you feeling breakfast today?", he asked, thinking about going out this morning. He was hungry from not eating much of his dinner yesterday at the restaurant and he wasn't in his own house, meaning he couldn't order Yoonjae to make the two a meal.

"I don't mind"

"Good, so get dressed because I'm starving!". Jimin hopped off the bed and stepped over to a closet, going through the clothes for the two of them to wear.

Since his friend was slightly bigger than him in height, pants weren't an option for him to pick out. He would have to stick with the pants he wore yesterday. He began picking out a few matching shirts for him and Taehyung to wear out together.

"Are you okay, Minnie?", Taehyung asked as he eyed his friend's casual composure. "We should talk about what happened yesterday", he suggested for his friend to not hold in his emotions.

"I'm as good as I can ever be!", Jimin perked up and showcased two shirts he wanted them to wear. "How about these? These are cute right?", he asked, disregarding his friend's concern and picked out a few more items of clothing.

"You don't have to pretend with me", Taehyung said sincerely.

"I'm not"

"Jimin, I'm your best friend. I can see right through you"

"Do you prefer these two instead?", Jimin asked, avoiding the topic, holding up a different pair of tops. It were two sweaters that seemingly matched their hair colors, he was thinking for them to color coordinate.

Taehyung stood up from the bed and moved over to his friend. He grabbed Jimin's shoulders, prying him away from the closest. He traveled his hands down to interlock their fingers and stared into saddened eyes.

"Talk to me. I want to hear you share what's on your mind", Taehyung said, hovering over the his friend.

Jimin lowered his head, knowing he couldn't lie to his friend for much longer. Of course he was hurt. He spent the whole night crying over what happened. He felt embarrassed, extremely embarrassed. He didn't want to acknowledge his feelings to the full extent but he was going to have to now.

"You were right", Jimin mumbled and pulled them both back to the bed, sitting down. "I should've left him alone", he frowned in despair.
