PARK JIMIN

A few days has passed where the teen has been trying his hardest not to seem gloomy. He had his friend by his side almost 24/7 and enjoyed his company, along with his other friends he would see occasionally.

He's been slumped over the incident that went down. The words that were shot at him had did a quite a number on his mentality. After opening up, he began to rethink his approach to life and attempted to sit down with himself. He analyzed his relationships with his friends and those who he intimately involved himself with.

He had decided that messing around with men for a short time for attention and validation was pointless. He deleted numbers in his phone that belonged to guys that he couldn't bother to remember the names of. He wanted a change.

One thing he couldn't change was his feelings for a particular hotheaded student. He thought about his actions and how he went about achieving Jungkook's feelings. He had an understanding that his initial act isn't going to work and that he'll need to alter the way he approaches him.

One thing he wanted to do was talk to him first. He hasn't heard or seen him in days since he was staying at Taehyung's house. The family welcomed him with open arms that he was grateful for, so he could process things. And one thing he had thought to do was make amends.

Him and Taehyung walked hand in hand per usual down the hall with one having an eye out. Jimin glanced down the hall, ignoring the people calling out to him and searched for a certain locker. He smiled, spotting his cutie reaching for his belongings.

He confidently strolled over to where the ravenette stood with Taehyung following quietly behind.

"Hey, cutie", Jimin greeted out of habit.

Jungkook rolled his eyes at the voice and slammed his locker shut. He made a move to walk away and Jimin absentmindedly went grabbed his wrist, preventing his leave.

"Oh, sorry", Jimin apologized, retracting his hand. He understood that the taller hated his touch. "I came over here to ask if you would like to attend me after school for us to hangout and chat", he proposed, watching Jungkook's face convert to disgust.

"Why would I willingly want to go anywhere with you?", Jungkook retorted and Jimin opened his mouth but closed it again, not knowing what to respond with.

"Well, I don't know... I was just hoping we could... uhm...", Jimin fumbled on his words finding it difficult to speak all of sudden.

Jungkook eyed the smaller up and down before sighing, "I don't feel like wasting my time here. I'm gonna head to class".

"You don't have to be such a dick", Taehyung spoke up from behind, stepping forward in defense.

"And who are you to say?", Jungkook retaliated.

The two of them stared down on one another both on the line of defense. Taehyung stepped up closer as Jungkook did the same simultaneously. Jimin could see that the both of them were ready to challenge each other and he couldn't let that happen.

Jimin tugged on his friend's hand, pulling him back. "It's okay, we should just leave", he whispered closely.

He knew the ravenette had every right to not want to speak to him and wanted Taehyung to understand that too. His friend is just protective over him no matter the situation, even if it was unfair on Jimin's part. It was what the blue haired teen grown accustomed to.

"He's trying to be nice and you're being a dick even though you should be the one apologizing!", Taehyung continued, regardless of Jimin's pleas for them to drop it.

"Of course you would say that. Nobody ever acknowledges where he may be in the wrong", Jungkook grumbled and turned to walk away. He wasn't in the mood to entertain the issue any longer. He's given up on trying to persuade people that the both of them could be at fault.

Jimin believed to understand and wanted them to talk about what happened. He wanted to let the other know that he knows that he had pushed him too far and that he's sorry for it. He just didn't know how to put it into words. He was praying for them to hangout after school in private to ease the tension and amend their relationship. Even though they barely had one to begin with.

"C'mon Minnie, forget him", Taehyung muttered, pulling his friend into a side hug.

Jimin nodded and turned in the opposite direction to where their class was held. When they began walking, he involuntarily glanced back and watched the ravenette stroll down the hall with his hands in his pockets. He frowned, wanting to run up to him and tell him what he meant to say.

He was slightly upset with his best friend for speaking on his behalf, but knew he only spoke in his defense. Taehyung has always had his back since they were children. When they met at the age of seven, the two were almost inseparable. Looking out for each other, swearing they will be best friends until death. It was a connection unlike any other and Jimin was more than grateful for that.

No matter who has used him in the past for money and recognition, he knew that his best friend was the one and only person he could trust to love him for him unconditionally. And he loved him just the same.
