PARK JIMIN
An hour passed of Jimin weeping to himself in the shower. He ran to the shower in refusal to view himself as a mess. He wanted to wash off his makeup and wash off the touch of Jungkook. His anger had died down from the relaxing steam and he was starting to register what had happened downstairs. He looked down at his wet, wrinkled hand and felt guilty about what he had did earlier.
I shouldn't have hit him
Jimin scolded himself at his rude behavior and thought that he shouldn't apologize for it. He does feel regret for doing so, but he knew Jungkook deserved it. And not to mention, the latter did shove him first.
I shouldn't care about him
However, he does. Jimin cares so much - too much for his own liking. He contemplated if what he said was too much too. Even though he wasn't the one to start that argument, he did go far with his words. He sat in the tub with the worry if he had actually hurt the feelings of the ravenette. He shouldn't care about his feelings if the latter doesn't care about his. He should be beyond pissed, yet he's just pained.
Jimin felt so stupid. He was told many times that the other would never see him the same way he saw him and he still chose to believe a lie. He fooled himself. For a second, he genuinely thought someone could like him for more than his looks and money. But now that he looks at the situation, that's all Jungkook would ever want him for too.
Just like everyone else, he had to throw himself at a boy to get his attention and now said boy went and asked money from him.
He's just like everyone else
He's right. No one would actually want me without my money
This conclusion made Jimin release more tears that formed. When he thought he was finally done crying, more tears flowed out from his eyes. He felt pathetic. He knows Jungkook isn't crying over him right now and that he's still the only one hurt. He needed to stop crying over him. It wasn't healthy.
When he had got out of the shower, he felt his throat go dry. He trudged downstairs to get a class of water and jumped, startled at who he saw in his kitchen, cleaning.
"Yoonjae?", Jimin called out, startling the chef too with his sudden presence.
"Ah, yes sir-Jimin. I'm here", the chef bowed in respect. "Would you like me to make you dinner? You must be hungry", he suggested with a polite smile.
"You should be home", Jimin said, ignoring the previous question.
"Yes, I am aware, sir. I came by due to concerns. When you told me not to come into work today, I grew worried, so I'm here to check up on you", Yoonjae told honestly, having deep care for his boss's wellbeing.
Jimin smiled softly and went over towards the fridge. He poured himself a cup of fresh water and leaned back against the cleaned counter top.
The boy sipped his water before speaking, "I order you to go home and stay home. You are my chef, it's not your job to worry about me".
"I'm aware of my position and responsibilities, sir. I'm simply not here as your chef and instead your friend", Yoonjae reasoned and went to wash the dishes, finding something else for him to.
