The Comeback 3

Meet.

(TW: Burns, angst, swearing)

(Also I apologize if you are in a religion where referencing Satan/the devil etc is frowned upon, just a warning as there is a reference to that sort of thing )

Red walked through the portal, and her vision adjusted, but instead of seeing a normal home screen, she saw a war zone. The home screen of the desktop was on fire, and many grey sticks were running around screaming. Red caught a glimpse of a coloured stick in the flurry, and saw that it was Orange. She rushed over to him, jumping through the flames and rubble, but when he noticed her coming towards him, he put his glowing green hand out, like he was going to shoot.

"Orange! It's me, Red!" She cried, looking at him, eyes widening.

"Tell me something only Red would know." He said.

"Um...we rescued your team and my SC by going through a portal in this universe!"

"Where did we find them?"

"In a field!"

SC lowered his hand and look at her. "It is you..."

"Yeah, yeah it's me. Now what the fuck is going on!?"

"No time to explain, the others should be here so-"

Orange was cut off by his teammates running to him, and Lime said, "We can't save it now! Alan's offline, and everything's gone! We-...Red?!"

"Yeah she's here." Orange said, turning to Red. "Red, how did you get here?"

"I made a portal, it's just over there." She explained, pointing to the glowing entity in the distance.

"Okay, well now we-" 

"SHIT!" A voice shouted behind them.

Red and Orange swiveled round to see the others staring in horror at Cyberna, who was walking towards them, a smirk on his face.

"RED!" Cyberna called. 

She froze when Cyberna said her name.

"We have to go Red!" Orange said, grabbing her forearm and dragging her away towards the portal.

They ran and ran, feeling an ocean of fire right behind them, occasionally tripping on rubble and crashing into panicked sticks. They ran through the portal, and just before the fire reached her, Red saw Cyberna standing and staring at her in the distance, still smiling.

They got back to the other universe unharmed, apart from the few burns and bruises. Stumbling through onto the floor, Red looked up to see her friends looking shocked and almost terrified. 

"Red..." Orange said, looking at her.

"W-What? What's wro-" Red got cut off when she saw a huge burn on her arm. It wasn't a normal burn, but it was marked it a way that it spelled words. 

'Let. Fire. Rage.' It said in ragged handwriting.

Red touched her arm, and inhaled sharply as it burned. 

"Oh shit..." Lime said.

"What does it mean?" Blue asked.

"It-" 

"It means I'm fucked." Red said, getting up and walking out of the room, running up to her room.

SC looked at Blue angrily and rushed after Red. Just as she slammed her door shut, SC banged on her door with his fist a couple of times before stopping and saying, just loud enough for Red to hear, "Please don't lock yourself in your room again.."

After a couple of minutes, the door slowly opened, revealing Red with tears streaming down her face. With no hesitation, SC pulled her into a tight hug. Red ignored her wounds and just enjoyed the hug, sighing and burying her face in SC's chest.
