The Comeback 3

Again.

(TW: Blood, angst

"You sure about that?" A voice said behind him.

Cyberna swerved round and was shocked to see Red standing right behind him. Before he could properly react, she grabbed his arm and threw him at a burning door.

"Don't you dare touch her." She warned.

As Cyberna got up, Red hurled a fireball at him, causing him to stumble back. Red didn't stop there, and ran up to Cyberna, swiftly punching him right in the cheek. His head whirled before cracking back into position.

"How did you-"

 "I just survived. It's becoming a thing now I think." Red said sarcastically, putting a hand out towards him.

Cyberna did the same thing, and Red felt a magnetic force between them, pushing both farther away from each other. Red and Cyberna both stood their ground, hands shaking from the strain. Red's eyes morphed into black, and the invisible force got stronger, causing Cyberna to trip again and fall out through a window. 

Red bolted over to Green who was now on the floor, breathing heavily.

"Are you alright?" Red asked nervously as she helped Green stand up.

"Yeah, yeah I'm okay, are you?"

"Yeah, I-"

"Red watch out!"

Red felt her body being flung back and suspended in the air again as Cyberna stood behind her and chuckled.

"Not so powerful now, are you?" He taunted, blood running down his temple.

Red just glared at him and struggled in the air, not showing any fear.

Suddenly, Green bolted over to Cyberna and dug a shard of glass into his neck, causing his grip on Red to disappear as she fell to the floor. Whilst Cyberna was distracted, Red grabbed Green's wrists and shook them slightly.

"Green listen to me. I need you to close your eyes, and don't open them until I say you can."

Green obeyed and Red did the same thing. Soon after, Red and Green felt themselves being teleported. In what seemed like a second, Red jolted awake, sweating and hyperventilating. Despite her vision being completely and utterly blurred, she frantically looked around for Green.

She felt a hand brush against against her arm and her vision returned to normal, she the others crowding around her.

"Red are you okay!?" A nervous voice asked.

Red ignored it and jumped out of her bed. She rushed over to Green, who was sitting in an armchair, shaking and eyes wide in fear.

"Green, Green, calm down you're okay!" Red said, shaking her shoulders.

Green looked at Red and stopped trembling, instead hugging her tightly.

"I-I'm fine, are you!?" Green asked, pulling away, noticing Purple beside her who had grasped her hand.

"I'm okay, I'm okay, it's alright." Red comforted.

By that time, everyone was crowding round the duo, asking them what happened and what they saw.

"I was just watching Red like everyone else was and then I...I don't know it all turned dark and I woke up in..." Green rambled, not fully getting her words out.

"A city. And then I saw you, I was fighting Cyberna and then he brought you up. H forced me to jump out of a window as we were in a skyscraper, but I survived and fought him again. I lost and luckily Green saved me by distracting Cyberna, and then I brought us both out of the...nightmare."
