Jack bursts into the office a moment later, Ianto close behind him. He notices Gwen crying, and starts to go over to comfort her, but I stop him. "It's better just to leave her alone." That isn't my real reason, but he'll accept this one better.

My real reason is that she's a bitch and she's only crying because you expect her to.

Jack does follows my 'advice' and leaves Gwen alone. Her cries falter a little, but I only notice because I'm paying extreme attention to everything she does. Jack doesn't notice, anyway.

Jack tilts his head at Ianto and me, asking for more an explanation without letting Gwen know he's seeing ghosts. I nod, "One minute," and go to call to Tosh and Owen for our explanation. I'm faced with a closed door. If I open it Gwen will think it opened by itself, and we can't have that, so I'll try to go through it? I would've been able to an hour ago, but now I can manipulate things around me.

I take a deep breath and concentrate on my right hand and lower arm, then gingerly reach through the door. I breathe a sigh of relief, close my eyes, concentrate on my whole body, and step through the door.

"Tosh! Owen!" I call to them. "Jack can see us now because he died. We are going to explain our situation to him. Also, you're gonna walk through this door." I grin, and lean against door.

They walk over to me, and look at the door dubiously. "That door," Owen informs me, "is solid. It's supporting your weight. If we actually have physical weight."

I straighten up, grin at him, and step through the door. "One more minute," I say, and, more to Ianto to Jack, add "I'm teaching them to walk though doors." He smiles and rolls his eyes. I stole back through the door.

"So," I say to a very confused Owen and an intrigued Tosh. "All you really need to do is concentrate. I'd check with just your hand first before walking into it." Then I leave again.

Tosh comes into Jacks office before Owen. She's more trusting and eager to figure things out. I agree with her. This whole ordeal is very interesting. And not just the fact that I'm in bloody Torchwood.

As Owen comes through, I notice that Gwen seems to have stopped crying. She still sniffling though. "Y'know, you should just send her home," I suggest to Jack. "She should rest, and then you can talk to us without sounding crazy."

"Gwen?" Jack says gently. "Why don't you go home for the rest of today." It's not a question. "I'll stay and make sure we don't get more weevils and take care of..." He trails of. Gwen shudders and nods. She gets up and leaves. I think she's hurt that Jack isn't paying much attention to her. That is a good thing.

"Alrighty," I say once she's left. "I know everything, except where to start, so, got any questions?"

Owen interrupts before Jack can answer. "Couldn't you have sent her home before I walked through a bloody door?!" The rest of just roll our eyes and turn back to Jack.

"How," he demands.

"That thing you found in the archives? Emitting energy? I believe you said it was Kree? That. How it works, I don't know. But when I touched it today it allowed us to move things around and started letting out energy."

"Okay, fair enough. I didn't even realize that thing did anything. Second question. These guys are from Torchwood. It makes enough sense that they'd be here. But who the hell are you and why are you are?"

"Now, that's the hard one. I'm Hazel, but you know that. I believe I'm from a parallel universe. I think this because in my world, there is a television show. It is called Torchwood. It is about you and this base. I think I'm here because I have some sort of connection to the artifact. I don't know why, it could be random, but I do, so I'm here."

"Okay, I think I understand what's going on here. I'm not gonna fight you with your other universe theory. So just one more thing. What now? Cause you're obviously not gonna let Gwen know, but I'm not gonna send you away."

"Eh, send Gwen home early." Personally I'd retcon her and be done with it, but I can't really justify that, so... "We can work when she's gone. And in the archives during the day." Ianto gives a smile at this. "And right now we can help with the clean up."

Alright then. That's done. I'd write more, but I'm not sure where to go. But I know where the story as a whole so it's okay. I have an idea for the next chapter, and once I start it it should be fine. But ugh. Starting. And I'm running out of good titles.

Also I updated before night. Which really just means I had a lot of free time today but that's alright. I finish school this week (wow) so maybe, just maybe, and don't quote me on this, I'll update more than once a week. We'll see.
