Ai awoke from her slumber, groggily rubbing her eyes as she tried to make sense of the commotion around her. "Huargh.... Huh? What's the commotion all about?" she mumbled, attempting to move but realizing she was held tightly by a pair of arms that didn’t want to let her go.
Glancing down, she saw Kai sleeping peacefully beneath her. Confusion washed over her as she tried to process what had happened the previous day. Just then, a click from a camera caught her attention. She turned to see Ruby and Chronoa giggling, while Aqua looked at her in disbelief.
Ai's face flushed immediately as she realized the situation. "W-we're no-not d-doing anything weird!!!" she stuttered, trying to wriggle free from Kai’s embrace. But he held onto her tightly.
"Ohh? Is that so~?" Chronoa and Ruby teased, their laughter echoing in the room. Aqua continued to watch with an incredulous expression.
Flustered, Ai looked back at Kai. "Wake up! Kai-kun!!" she urged, trying to shake him awake.
"Two more minutes, Mom....." Kai mumbled sleepily, rolling over.
In a moment of frustration, Ai slapped his face lightly. "Wake up!"
"Ouwch!! What the hell, Mom!!! I already said two more... Oh, ohhhhhh..." Kai's voice trailed off as he finally registered the situation around him. He glanced at Ruby and Chronoa, his face turning as red as Ai's.
Just then, Trunks and Ace burst into the house. "Supreme Kai of Time!! We heard a scream. What happened?!" Trunks asked worriedly, his eyes immediately landing on Kai lying beneath Ai.
A single word escaped both Trunks's and Ace's mouths:
"Oh."
"We're sorry for interrupting..." they said in unison, bowing slightly before quickly closing the door behind them.
Kai sat up comically crying out, "Why am I still alive?!"
"Did you get the picture?" Ruby asked Chronoa excitedly.
"Of course! Look at them! They're so cute together!!" Chronoa replied, showing Ruby the photos she had taken.
"DELETE IT, MOM!! / DELETE IT, RUBY!!" both Kai and Ai screamed simultaneously at the sight of the photos. Aqua just sweatdropped at the chaos unfolding around him.

Ai went to the dining table. After the commotion, she went to take a bath. She looked at Kai, who was making breakfast for them.
"♪ I love food 'cause it is yummy ♪ "
"♪ I will put this in my tummy ♪ "
"♪ We can have all the rice! ♪ "
"♪ All we have to do is Go! Go! Grab A Bowl! ♪ "
Ai chuckled, "You didn't tell me you could sing?" He was surprised to see Ai behind him, blushing at her compliment.
"What'cha making, huh?" she asked, noticing the mountain of food he was preparing.
"Everything. Can you help me serve it on the table, please?" Kai replied. Ai smiled and agreed, assisting him as Chronoa entered after feeding Toki-Toki.
"I could make you a delicious breakfast," Chronoa offered, but Kai declined the offer with a wave of his hand. Just then, Aqua and Ruby burst into the house, with Toki-Toki perched on Aqua's head. Ruby giggled at the sight while Aqua looked visibly annoyed.
"Damn you, oversized birdie..." Aqua thought to himself as he tried to remove Toki-Toki, who pecked at his hands in protest. The others laughed at Aqua's predicament, and Kai stepped in to remove Toki-Toki from his head.
Once they settled down at the table, Kai dug into the food with his usual voracity. Despite Ai and her kids being accustomed to his appetite, they still found it astonishing how quickly he devoured everything. Aqua watched in disbelief; Saiyans must have a high metabolism, but where did all that food go? Kai never seemed to gain any weight, which left Ai and Ruby feeling a twinge of jealousy.
"Haven't I taught you about manners in front of people, Kai?" Chronoa sighed as he scratched his cheek sheepishly.
"Can't help it, Mom..." Kai mumbled around a mouthful of food. Laughter filled the air as Chronoa asked what their plan was now that Ai was healed.
"I never thought about it... Going home?" Ruby suggested, eager to explore more. Aqua and Ai nodded; they weren’t going to pass up this experience. Kai shrugged and glanced at his mother for guidance.
"How about Ruby and Aqua come with me for a walk around Conton City?" Chronoa proposed to the twins. Ai hesitated but ultimately allowed them to go.
"I'm suuureee Kai would looveee to show you around, right Kai?" Chronoa teased. Kai choked on his food at the implication of it being like a date. Aqua laughed at his reaction while everyone looked at him strangely.
"What? It's funny!" Aqua defended himself.
"O-oh yeah!" Kai nodded awkwardly as Ai smiled warmly at him.
Chronoa reminded him to wash the dishes after he finished eating, to which Kai lazily responded with a nonchalant "Yeah."

"Umm, Kai... can I ask you something?" Aqua asked after Kai finished cleaning the kitchen. "What's wrong, Aqua?" Kai questioned, kneeling down to face him.
"Could you train me? I-I wanna be strong like you." Kai was taken aback by the sudden request. He hadn’t expected it, but he liked the idea of teaching someone, even though he had never taught anyone before. A smile spread across his face.
"Of course! But you need to tell your mother first. If she agrees, I'll train you. Okay, little guy?" Aqua nodded eagerly as Kai ruffled his hair.
"Aqua, hurry up!" Ruby yelled, waving him over. Aqua dashed to join her and Chronoa, who were waiting nearby.
"Have fun, you two!" Ai called back with a warm smile.
"It's hard to bring them sightseeing back in Tokyo. Letting them have some fun here sure brings joy to them," Ai said weakly to Kai, who nodded in agreement while noticing her outfit.

Kai had a nosebleed after seeing Ai, quickly wiping it away before she noticed. However, Ai giggled, catching him off guard.
"Am I too pretty?" she teased, and Kai blushed in response as Ai held his hand.
"Ye-yeah, you're pretty!" he stammered, nervously looking away as they made their way to Conton City together. ______________________________________
