𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩 - 𝐓𝐨𝐦 𝐊𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐳 - 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞

𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 - 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫

Really quick I wanna apologize because that last chapter was SO bad and really short so this one will be longer and hopefully better

Courtney's POV

"Okkk we're back!" Bill says, causing Tom and my kiss to break. Gustav and Bill stand in front of us unfazed, like they knew it was gonna happen. "Uhhh" I say "don't worry" Gustav says. "Let's get Georg" bill says

Tom and I awkwardly stand up and he wraps his arm around my shoulder. He had wrapped his arm around my shoulder so many times in the last couple months but this time it felt different.

Time skip - two weeks

"As you all know, it's our final day at sunny hills! So, we'll be holding our annual game of infection!" A counselor says. There's a few Oohs and ahhs spread around the dining hall.

"What's that?" I whisper to bill. "It's like tag but when you get tagged you become a tagger." Bill explains. "And it's the whole camp in the dark" Gustav adds.

"Sounds fun" I say. "It is" bill says.

I know it's  gonna be hard going long distance with Tom and so does he but he can come see me on weekends when we're not in school.

The five of us sit on a bench watching some people play basketball. "I never got to finish teaching you guitar" Tom says. "I know but there's always the weekends" I say. Just then, Melanie comes up to us "Georggg come paint with me!" She says. "Okayy! See you guys in a little bit" Georg says, getting up and walking with Melanie.

"Does anyone else kinda not like her?" I ask. "Me!" Bill says "me too" Tom says "me. Ever since they started dating Georg has been different." Gustav says, sadly. "For sure. But he seems so happy with her" I say.

"Well, it's the last day of camp so they won't see each other for a little while"  Bill says.
"I'm really gonna miss you guys" I say. "We're gonna miss you too" they all say. Tom wraps his arm around my shoulder and kisses the top of my head "we'll all come see you on the weekends." He says.

Time skip - 13 hours
10:00 pm

All of the campers and counselors stand in a huge open field. A counselor stand in the middle of everyone explaining the game. "The last thing is if you get tagged, you must put a green glow stick around your wrist" she says as she walks around and passes green glow sticks out to everyone. "Put this in your pocket" she says.

I do as I'm told and put the glow stick into my pocket. A girl is picked as the first tagger and we all get 10 seconds to spread out before she can run. Tom and I run behind a tree at the edge of the woods together.

A little bit later, the tagger comes up to the tree and Tom runs away screaming. The girl tags me and runs away. "TOM!!" I yell as I clip the glow stick around my wrist.

I run out from behind the tree and search for people to tag.

We play a few one more rounds and then Tom gets picked as the tagger. Everyone spreads out and I immediately run into the woods.

I lean up against a tree for a while waiting for someone to get me. I hear a stick crunch and look around to see someone's silhouette. I start running in the opposite direction but the person gets me and tackles me to the ground(lightly)

I squint and can tell it's Tom. I lean up a little and kiss him. He kisses me back as his hand slides up and down the side of my thigh. Just then, a light clicks on over us. Tom breaks the kiss and we both look up. It's Amy. "Absolutely not! Here at Sunny Hills we do NOT allow PDA. Now, both of stand up. I'm taking you two back to your cabins." We stand up "Not PDA if we weren't in public" I say under my breath. "What was That?" Amy says with a Stern voice. "Nothing" I say.

She walks Tom back to his cabin and then me back to mine. Since she's my counselor she stays with me. "We could've had a fun night but you and your little boyfriend ruined it" she says "your the one that made us come back here. You could've let us keep playing and just given us a warning." I say. "Cut the attitude" she says

We sit in silence for what feels like forever until the other girls from my cabin begin piling in. I take that as my queue to start getting ready for bed. I get up and brush my teeth before taking my pajamas into the bathroom and putting them on. Then, I brush my hair and get into bed.

Everyone is pretty worn out from running so they all fall asleep quickly. Once everyone is sleeping, I flip my phone open and text Tom.

Texts between Tom and Courtney

Courtney: sorry you had to miss all the fun

Tom: it's fine it was worth it

Courtney: I'm gonna miss you

Tom: I'm gonna miss you too. But we'll all come see you every weekend

Courtney: okay

Tom: I love you

Courtney: I love you too

I flip my phone closed and roll over. I close my eyes and slowly drift off to sleep.

I wake up to Amy saying "wake up your parents will be here very soon" I sit up and rub my eyes. I realize I didn't pack my bag so I get out of bed and stuff what's in my dresser into my duffel bag. I decide to leave my pajamas on since it's gonna be a long drive back home and I want to be comfortable.

All the girls stand by the front door with their bags. I stare at the now empty cabin. This summer wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Amy opens the door and we all file out of the cabin. We walk to the parking lot to wait for our parents or to get on the busses.

I walk over to Gustav Georg Tom and Bill. I give them each a hug. "See you guys on the weekends" I say, my eyes becoming glossy.
A tear rolls down my cheek and I burry my face into Tom's chest. "I don't wanna leave you guys" I say. "Aww Courtney your gonna make me cry!" Bill says. I let go of Tom and wipe the tears off my face. "Sorry" I say, laughing a little bit.

I see my parents car pull up. "This is it" I say, giving them each one more hug.
Tom walks me to my parents car. I hug him and he puts his hand on my cheek, giving me one last kiss until the school year starts. My dad honks the car horn and I pull away.
"I love you" I say "I love you too" Tom says.
I haul my bag to the trunk of the car and throw it in. I then get into the car and close the door.

"What was That?" My dad asks with am angered look. "You said you wanted me to socialize" I say.
