"Umm, please sit." Yoongi said nervously, glancing at the boy standing in front of him.
Jeongguk nodded curtly and then sat on the chair. The way he was trembling didn't go unnoticed by Yoongi.
Only Jeongguk knows how much courage he has gathered to come here with the latter. At first, he didn't even want to talk to him let alone be alone with him , when Yoongi said he wanna talk, he just wanted to hide from the elder.
He was going to refuse, then a thought crossed his mind, "Until when will I keep hiding and running away from him? And why should I hide when he is the one at fault, when he's the one who's wrong."
Jin and Namjoon patted his shoulder, encouraging him when he left and now he is here sitting in the empty large hall where the party was held a few hours ago, which is de@d silent.
Yoongi wanted to talk to him privately but knowing that Jeongguk would never be comfortable alone in his presence he took him here, he saw the younger waiting, so wiping his tongue on his lower lip he started, "Ummm I want to apologize to you." He did not beat around the bush, he knows if not now then later he has to do it so why waste the younger's time.
Jeongguk shut his eyes tightly, he expected this would be the reason the elder requested for a conversation.
Nonetheless he had promised himself to never show that he is nervous or scared of him.
"Why?" Hence the word left without his knowledge.
Yoongi was obviously taken back by the answer, "I-I...." He stopped in the middle hearing a low chuckle of the younger.
Jeongguk opened his tightly balled fists and placed his hands on the table, "Why are you sorry, Yoongi-ssi? I mean for what?" He was shocked himself for not stuttering in front of him but whatever the reason is, he is glad for it because except his husband he did not want to show his weakness to anyone in this whole damn world, not to Yoongi at least.
He doesn't want to appear as a weakling in front of this man ever again.
"For e-everything I've don-" now Yoongi Is the one who stuttered for the first time.
"As far as I know, you have done many things, Yoongi-ssi and I don't know what you meant by everything. Can you please Elaborate?" He was hurt but the sarcasm was clearly visible in his tone.
He smiled to himself when didn't get the answer, "You mean, For calling off wedding?......,hmm No lemme re-quote it for you, For rejecting me at the altar?" Yoongi widened his eyes at the younger's boldness.
"Was he like this from before or?......." He wondered.
