Somewhere in the background Mina called your name, her voice faint against the wind. Kirishima was with her shouting for you and Bakugo. The ground shook beneath the four of you, currents of electricity passing through all of your bodies. The lightning struck all right, and it managed to hit all you. Bakugo hissed gritting his teeth together, you grabbed onto his shoulder tightly, moaning from the pain of the shock.

"Bakugo," it was Kirishima again. "We have to go, we need to get checked." He brought his hands up to his mouth cupping them to make a megaphone. His grey dress shirt was practically see through by now, and his belt buckle crackled still from the lightning. Bakugo winced as he adjusted his hold on you, carrying you with one arm like a child so that he could pick up your shoes.

"You need to put me down, you're putting too much strain on yourself." You said as you tried to reach for your shoes. You hadn't liked the pair all that much but it was still saddening to see how they had turned into flats. "Please put me down." He now stood under a bodega back leaning against the brick wall. He was breathing heavily and his muscles would spasm every now and then. If you were being honest with yourself you'd say that you felt soar too, this however was not about you. "Kirishima," you shouted. He was already jogging over to you, like Bakugo his muscles would occasionally spasm. Mina tried her best to keep up, her legs wobbling about as if she was drunk. (You would have that so too if it wasn't for the fact that you had just spent two hours with her sober.)

"My car's not too far from here." Kirishima said as he put his hand against the wall taking a moment to catch his breath.

"Bakugo-" You slipped back on one of your shoes.

"Uh-uh," he tilted his head back struggling to breath. "You were just calling me Katsuki a second ago." You slid on your other shoe, squirming out of his hold so that you could stand on your own. Unfortunately for you the broken heel really put you off balance leading to both Bakugo and Kirishima reaching out to catch you. "I've got her shitty hair," He barked although his voice sounded much more strained.

"Thank you," you smiled at the red-head. There was a strong gust of wind whipping more of that harsh rain against your back. "Katsuki," you tried again. His eyes were squeezed shut, chest rising as he took deep breaths. "I got you, let's go home."

He glanced over at Kiri before whispering in your ear, "that fucking hurt."

"I know, I'll take care of it." You placed your hand flat against his chest, "promise."

"Give me another minute," Kirishima said to the two of you. He still stood there trying to catch his breath and stop the spasming of his muscles.

"Where's the car?" You turned to Mina, holding on tight to Bakugo's hand. She pointed just a few yards down to a vehicle not so parallel parked. "Ok, we'll wait for you." You said, leading Bakugo over to it.

"You ok?" Kirishima asked as he pulled Mina into a hug.

"Shaky," she whispered.

"Yeah," he laughed a little. "Me too."

"Our bestfriend's are a wreck, they're so messy."

"He means well."

"So does she." They rubbed circles on each other's backs taking this chilly moment to indulge themselves in the other's warmth.

The backseat of the car was just as cold as it was outside. "Why'd you snap? You scared the shit out of your bestfriend and me." Your head was on his chest, his arm around your shoulder. The both of you were soaking wet, your clothes sticking together as a result. As an added bonus you were drenching the backseat as well.

Bakugo swallowed, "I got a call today."

"Over what?"

"You," he placed his head on top of yours. His heart was hammering in his chest, but at least his breathing had begun to regulate. He swallowed again just as the other couple entered the car. You watched as Kirishima cranked the car, the four of you hoping the engine started smoothly and didn't kick back. The last thing this group needed was another injury.

"We can't go to the hospital," Mina spoke up. Her voice was shaky, sympathetic eyes focused on the man currently starting up the car.

"Why the hell not," Bakugo growled.

"We can't afford those bills, Katsuki. And with our jobs..." you sighed. "They'll ask too many questions and the debt will just be too great."

"We'll take the two of you to get checked," Mina spoke up. Kirishima then entered the vehicle, rain pouring in during the split second the door was open.

"They don't want to go to the hospital," Bakugo snitched.

"What? Why?" His large red eyes scanned over your faces, poor thing was clearly confused.

"Kiri we can't," Mina placed her hand in his lap.

"Why?" He cut her off.

"Well," you started.

"We were just struck by lightning we need to go to the hospital! Or was I the only one there?"

"What are they gonna do for us?" You asked him, leaning forward slightly. Your face was stern, "I want Katsuki to get checked out but that is all."

"You need to get checked too dumbass."

"I didn't experience anything, it tickled but out of all us I'm ok." You turned to look at Bakugo then who wasn't buying any of your shit.

He pulled his arm off your shoulder to fold them across his chest. "Fine then I'm not going either," his gaze had locked onto yours.

"Guys wait-" Kirishima tried interjecting.

"Awesome then we can all just have one big sleepover!" Mina chirped up clapping her hands together.

"No but we still-"

"Great," you replied."

"Fine," Bakugo said louder.

"But-" Kirishima pulled out of the parking lot.

"We can just go to your place," Mina smiled at him.

"I still think-"

"Just drive shitty hair," Bakugo slumped back into his seat. Despite his nasty scowl and folded arms, you still cuddled into him. When you were further along the street and the humming of the car matched with the drumming of the rain proved to be loud enough he whispered to you again. "You really are ok?"

"Yes, Katsuki. I'm just worried about you."

He wrapped his arm around your shoulder, "I'm fine if you're fine."
