TW: Swearing, Mild Killing of Non-Human Creatures, Mental Instability (Kind Of??? Not Really But Ish)

Y/N's POV

You were sweating hard as you punched the mat wrapped around a tree. It was still early morning. After your strange encounter last night with Karl, you were up extremely early. After a bit of calming down and processing everything, you concluded that it was just a weird dream and went for a workout. You had changed into a red zip-up sports bra and a matching pair of shorts meant for this sort of activity. You had also braided your hair to get it off your neck to the best of your ability, and thrown on a pair of black running shoes.

Harder.

Push yourself.

You can do this.

You need to do this.

Do it.

DO IT.

DO IT!

You gave it one last, good punch that shook the whole tree before taking a deep breath and dropping the boxing gloves into the chest next to the mat. For some reason, all of the workout gear and equipment was outside... sometimes you felt like you'd never understand these idiots.

You dropped onto another mat that laid in the grass and started doing crunches. By the time you reached sixty, your abs burned. You enjoyed it, it took your mind off of everything else going on. It gave you something to work for to distract you from everything else going on. You laid on the mat for a moment and closed your eyes to catch your breath.

A dark shadow passed over your eyelids, standing still. You opened your eyes to find a green eyed man staring at you and smiling. He wore a lime green t-shirt and black shorts and a pair of forest green running shoes. His mask was clipped to his shorts, and he held yours in his hand along with another clip.

"Morning, princess," He said, his voice still adjusting from waking up.

"Morning, handsome," You smiled back, taking his outstretched hand as he helped you up.

"I'm going for a run, want to come with me?" He asked, handing you your mask and a clip.

"Of course, I needed to throw some leg into my workout yet," You said while attaching your mask to your shorts. You could never be too careful.

"Let's do this!" He said, and started running off. You followed him, catching up with ease and slowing back to his pace. His route was beautiful, the trees seemed to be singing with how bright they were. The sun had just begun peeking over the horizon, shedding you both in golden light through the now thinning trees as you exited the forest and the path curved to the left.

You were now running on a well-trodden dirt path. To your left was a forest of tall trees surrounding the house. To your right was a beach overlooking a glimmering lake. You couldn't believe you hadn't done this before today. Everything seemed perfect: the chitter of birds in the air, the skittering of small creatures in the forest, the lapping of the waves against the sand.

"Do you do this every morning?" You asked, still in awe.

"I try to. Most days, yes," He replies, a little breathy. Soon you were on your way back home, much sooner than if you had ran with Techno. He would have make you run until you both couldn't stand. He nearly killed you just training you for years, but it was well worth it now.

As you approached the house, you unclipped your masks and slid them back on before entering. George and Sapnap seemed to still be asleep, so you immediately took yours off. You were soaked in sweat, as was Dream. He took off his shirt and you forced yourself to look away as you stretched out your muscles a bit.
