TW: Swearing
Techno's POV
I grunted as I swung the heavy sack over my shoulder. It was filled to the brim with nether resources of all sorts. I was standing in the hell-like region, about to go through the portal. I nodded at my brethren who had helped me out today before stepping through the obsidian archway and into the purple swirls.
My vision was clouded and distorted as I landed back on the other side, the violet mist disappearing as I stepped onto normal grass again. I stomped my way back into the cabin, petting Steve on the way in. I had found him a month ago and convinced Phil to let me keep him inside, and so far he was tame.
I opened the door to the basement while shifting the weight of the bag and carefully made my way down the stairs to the storage rooms. I went into my storage area and began sorting the loot between potion ingredients, ore, and tradable gold. I set the bag down once it was empty, and began sorting out my inventory.
While the sack had resources from the nether, I had traded a bit with my brethren and stuffed those contents into my inventory for safe keeping. I pulled out quite a few enderpearls, books, potions, and even a handcrafted golden arrow. Being part boar helped me get quite a few good deals out of them.
I trudged back upstairs and up to the second floor where I begin stripping my armor off and putting weapons away in the closet. I stared at Y/N's bunk for a moment. While I had begun to fill the room with trophies of my adventures, I couldn't bring myself to move any of her things. After all of these years, I still felt guilty for that day...
No.
Focus.
The voices began whispering, slowly rising. I pushed the thought from my mind and shoved them to the back. Not now.
A light tap on the window took my attention off of the negative nostalgia. I opened the window and let the crow in, finding some seed in the desk drawer to treat it to. As it sat on the top of the desk to nibble at the snack, I carefully untied the small ribbon holding a letter to its foot. I sat back in the wooden chair while carefully unrolling the small parchment.
Tech, it happened. Come to Dream's. See you soon.
- Y/NI stood up immediately and grabbed my crossbow and an axe. I ran down the stairs as fast as I could. Phil came out of his study after hearing the commotion.
"Everything alright, mate?" He asked, concern in his furrowed brows.
"It happened again," I told him, lacing up my boots. "I'll be back when I can. I'll send a letter if I end up staying longer than expected, what with the election coming up."
I closed the door before he could get another word in, rushing to the stable to ready my horse. Please hold out for me, Y/N. I'll be there soon.

Y/N's POV
After an eventful morning of trying to shower and get yourself ready, you now awaited Techno's arrival. Dream wouldn't leave you alone and was constantly questioning any movements you made. He had barely let you walk anywhere on your own, which was a bit useful seeing as you could barely stand without toppling over.
"Just let me drink the potion, Clay!" You complained, trying to grab it from his hands.
"No! What if it makes it worse?" He told you, pulling it out of your reach.
"It's a healing potion. The whole point it to make it better!" You groaned.
"I'm not taking any chances. We are waiting for a professional opinion," He said, stubborn in all his ways.
