The scene at the airport was touching so much so that one would think they had lost a loved one forever which wasn't really different from what was happening. Joycelyn was all teared up hugging Adeline so tight as if she would float away if she let go. The twins were trying to act cool but it was obvious they were affected by her departure. The only person acting stoic was Joe. He still didn't agree with her moving but he had a mind to keep his insecurities to himself. He hugged her casually and kept a straight face the whole time.

"I'll really miss you, Dad." Adeline said putting up a sad face.

"I know. Take care of yourself okay." he replied trying to keep his emotions at bay but she saw right through him after all she was his daughter.

"Ok, take care of yourself too." Looking ahead she saw the one person she was hoping to see before she left, Ben. She walked around her dad and waited for him to get to her before she hugged him. "I was afraid you wouldn't come."

"I won't forgive myself if I didn't." he said and kissed her unaware of the watching eyes. Joycelyn grinned while Joe looked ready to kill him. The twins were clearly disgusted and had turned away and so did Noah but he did it to hide the scowl on his face. Joe had noticed this and smiled slightly. "I wouldn't forgive myself if I didn't do this either. I haven't given up on us, Ade. I will come to London or wherever you go so please wait for me, okay?" She nodded and hugged him. When their display of affection ended, she felt extremely shy, she couldn't look him in the eyes. He looked ahead and smiled sheepishly. He knew he was definitely going to get a scolding from Joe on their way back. Adeline brought him Benjie who was bouncing with joy. " Hey little man! "

" Unco Ben! "

"I'll come see you soon so be a good boy, okay? "

" Yes! Unco Ben, see my daddy. " he was pointing to Noah who stood at the back. Ben walked over to him to introduce himself.

"Hi, I'm Ben, Adeline's boyfriend. It's finally good to meet you."

"Yeah, it is."

"To be honest I don't like you at all but I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt. Adeline's mine and whatever twisted idea you may have, forget it."

"I'm sorry you feel threatened by me but I'll have you know if Ade decides to come to me that will be of her own free will besides I'm married.Again, it's nice to meet you Ben but we have to leave." The frown setting in on his face gave him a sense of victory because unknowingly Ben had confirmed that Adeline's feelings for him Noah may not be as passive as he thought it was. He gave a satisfying smirk and took Benjie from him. Adeline got closer feeling the bad vibes emitting from them. Just then, it was announced that their flight was boarding so they said their final farewells and Noah with Adeline and Benjie headed for the terminal.

"You sure know how to pick'em, don't you?" he said smiling.

" What're you talking about?" she asked looking confused.

" Your boyfriend." she fell silent not wanting to get into the deal between her and Ben.

" Welcome sir " Max greeted as Noah made his way towards him looking inconspicuous as usual. He noticed Adeline carrying a kid behind him and smiled.

"Max, hello!" she greeted when she saw him.

"Hi, Miss.Quaye. it's been quite a while." he replied pleasantly.

"Yeah, it is and please call me Adeline. Miss Quaye is too formal." he smiled and leaned in to look at Benjie who was asleep There was clearly no two ways about him being Noah's son. The kid was his perfect double. "He's beautiful"
