The day had been quite a headache for Adeline, Max and Benjie. Noah wanted to waste no time establishing their lives there. They went to the Registry Department to get Benjie a birth certificate under the name Benjamin Noah Hedlund. After they visited the Immigration Offices to get a permanent permit for Adeline. She was given annoying looks by the other immigrants who had been waiting for long just to talk to someone while she was in and out of there in twenty minutes. Well that was one of the perks of being the baby mama of a rich man.
"Mummy, I'm hungry." Benjie whined as they drove to the hospital for thorough check up for a health insurance. Adeline turned to look at him and chuckled.
"Okay, I will get you something." she said to him and turned to Max who was driving. "I think the little guy spoke for us all."
"Actually, yeah." he confirmed and laughed. "There is a drive thru a little ahead. We could get something there" Ten minutes later, they made a stop in front of the sales boy and made their order of french fries with chicken, cheese burgers and smoothies. Adeline handed Benjie a burger and a smoothie which he took and begun munching away. He looked up to see the stern look his mother was giving him.
"Thank you." he said immediately. Max had gotten to the parking lot of the Xavier Hospital. There wasn't a lot of cars. He parked and grabbed his fries to eat.
"You want some, lad?" he asked Benjie who was half way through his food. He nodded enthusiastically and opened his palms. Max chuckled and placed a few fries in his hands.
"Thank you." he said and tried to place them all in his mouth.
"He can never seem to say no to food" Adeline said making Max laugh.
"Well he needs it to grow well."
"Mhmm." The blaring sound of Max's phone interrupted the silence setting in. He looked at her when he looked at the caller. "Noah?" he nodded in response and answered the call. After a few words exchanged and a couple of nodding, he hung up.
"So are you guys ready to get checked up?" he asked cheerily.

Adeline finished with the dishes and went to the living room where Benjie was watching a kid's show though he didn't seem too engrossed in it. Max had left immediately after dinner to do something. He had assured her Noah would come over later after a meeting. Feeling bored, Adeline switched the TV off.
"Let's dance, Benjie." she suggested hopefully
"What dance, mummy?" She smiled and turned on the music player. Wait on me by Rixton begun playing and she begun swaying her hips to the beat and went for him. He was reluctant at first but when she promised him ice cream he put his heart into it. Soon enough she was the only one dancing while Benjie watched her giggling. She assumed he was amused at her dancing. She sang the few verses she knew as she continued to dance. She twirled but stopped halfway when she saw Noah standing at the threshold with the biggest smirk ever. She immediately felt flustered and smiled shyly. He burst into laughter and walked towards her.
"Please don't stop on my account." he teased. "I quite enjoyed your dancing" She glared at him and stopped the player.
"How long were you standing there?" she accused
"Long enough to know you are a good dancer. I could take a few lessons from you, you know."
"Oh please!" she rolled her eyes at his insinuation and plopped on the couch.
"I'm serious. Benjie, isn't mummy a good dancer?"
"Yes!" he exclaimed
"See..."
