Small footsteps echoed the darken hallway; the moonlight streaming in slightly through the floor to ceiling windows. The footsteps came from a teenage girl as she walked down the hallway holding a small candle with her gloved hand. She stood tall with long blonde and black hair, her face stone cold with vivid blue eyes. She was clad in black jeans and a black shirt, leather gloves on her hands and leather boots.
As she reached the end of the hallway, she took a deep breathe and knocked on the door at the end.
"Come in!" A male voice called out from behind the door.
She opened the door and walked in, greeted yet again with a darken room. The room was vast with many windows that let the moonlight shine through. The only other source of light was a fireplace that crackled, she could see the room was a library. Books filled the many shelves the room contained, a black leather couch sat in front of the fireplace.  However, somebody occupied the couch in front of the fireplace. A man with shaggy brown hair, though his face could not be seen the woman still smiled wickedly. She blew out her candle and walked over to the man, her face glowed with evil intentions. She stood in front of him and saw his features. He looked to be in his mid forties, spots of gray was in his brown hair and dark green eyes. Dark circles were seen under his eyes as were some winkles. He looked up at the teenage girl with a smile on his face.
"Cassandra, you have grown so much my child." The man said.
Cassandra nodded. "It has been eighteen years my master." She explained. "I was able to retrieve your soul from Hell, however your body has been destroyed. Once I find the ashes, I will be able to give you back the body you deserve."
The man nodded. "What about my two enemies: Canaan and Mariah Hathaway. Rumors in Hell circles about them having twin girls. Is this true?"
Cassandra's face hardened with hatred. "Yes my master. Catherine and Margaret Hathaway, twin daughters of your enemies. They are becoming stronger sir is what I have heard."
The man shook his head. "We must have one of the daughters of Canaan." He stated. "I grow weaker by the day my child. We must act now with my new plan."
"Your new plan?" Cassandra asked with a saddened face, fearing what she was thinking it was.
"Yes I have somebody in mind to raise from her perpetual sleep." The man said. "She is going to be the one to help me take down the Hathaway family once and for all."
Cassandra face fell as the words of her master hit her like ice. She felt like she was being replaced by this new woman, somebody who proved more worthy to her master then she. The man saw her reaction and stood up quickly, placing a hand on her cheek.
"Do not worry my child." The man said. "You will always be my favorite girl. You have done so well while I was away."
"Promise to never leave my side again master." Cassandra asked calmly. "You can defeat the Hathaway family and you will never have to leave."
The man laughed at the girl softly. "I will try my very best my child." He stated.
"Thank you master." Cassandra smiled evilly as the man kissed her forehead.
"Now bring me one of the Hathaway children." The man stated.
"Yes my master." Cassandra stated. "I shall take my right hand with me and bring not only one of the girls back, but Canaan Hathaway as well."
The man smiled darkly. "Thank you my child. Now you may go." He said as he sat back down on the couch. "You will be rewarded for all this one day Cassandra. I will eventually be the father you want and need when I return to my original form."
Cassandra nodded as she preceded to walk to the door, but she looked back at the man before exiting the room. A gleam of hope was in her eyes as the man said that to her, a father was what she hoped for. She longed for a father for years after she found out her true destiny and after her mother passed on, leaving a note about who he really was. A demon father who seduced her mother to have a powerful hybrid child, but failed to be a father after he found out she was a girl.
Once Cassandra's mother died when she was seven, her father finally reached out to her and made her a deal of a lifetime: immortality. She knew normally a seven year old would not understand what that meant and what he wanted her to do, however she knew. The demon blood ran through her and made her highly intelligent, giving her a sense of the real world and the demonic world.
Her mother wanted her to use those powers for God's purpose and not the purpose her father intended. However, Cassandra felt God turned his back on her a very long time ago..
