"Hey, Berto! Berto!" Sam yelled gaining the attention of Berto his eyes aflame and his fists pounding against the forcefield.

"B*tch put force fields over all the exits." Roberto cried out stressfully, trying to use his powers to escape.

"Is she trying to kill us?" Sam looked down.

"Don't know. Did she make those smiley things?" Roberto's voice lacked his usual arrogance.

"No. They're Illyana's." Sam exhaled rubbing the back of his neck.

"Of course they are." Roberto nodded pacing nervously.

"Have you seen Ath- the girls?" Sam quickly averted, looking around.

"No."

"All right. Upstairs." Sam was interrupted when more of the smiley men begun making their way towards Roberto and himself. Thankfully Illyana had burst through her portal killing them all with her sword.

"Where the hell did you go?" Sam sighed in relief, worried he was going to pass out from stress.

"Our special place." Illyana turned to Lockheed.

"That was so hot." Roberto practically drooled as Illyana brushed past him.

The group froze when a familiar yell echoed from a few rooms down Athena's voice loud and clear. "Oh sh*t." Berto cursed, Sam blasting towards the noise leaving Illyana and Berto to catch up.

"What the actual f*ck." Athena cursed out loud, a figure on fire moving towards her. "That's it i've lost my mind." Athena shook her head paranoid, before pulling her gloves off. She brought her hands together, running electrical currents along the ground towards the burning figure.

The figure disintegrated, Athena internally celebrating until more burning people came from around the corner. "Ok you know what, I'm crazy anyway." Athena begun moving back, the heat radiating towards her skin.

Just when Athena's back hit the opposite wall, a fast blink moved past her closed eyes. A flashing figure running straight through destroying the fire. Athena peeled her eyes open, watching Sam on the other side patting the loose flames on his pants out.

"Oh thank god." Athena let out a breath of relief, Sam blasting to the other side to check Athena for injuries.

"Christ, Thene are you alright? I heard your scream and I thought- thought the worse-

Athena interrupted his fussing, pulling Sam up by the collar to connect their lips. Sam didn't complain as he melted into the kiss, someone clearing their throat sending the pair apart.

"What the f*ck did I miss." Roberto shook his head, Illyana smirking at Athena behind him.

"Berto, you're flaming girlfriend just about killed me." Athena hit him on the chest roughly, Roberto paling.

"Don't worry pal, I killed her." Sam patting him on the back with a laugh, Roberto brushing it off.

"Children, we need to find Rahne." Illyana rolled her eyes, moving past the group heading towards another room.

"What the hell's going on Rahne?" Athena poked her head in the right room the rest of the group joining them. Dani was busy scrambling through the files in Reyes desk to notice the group.

"Where's Dr. Reyes?" Sam joined the conversation confused.

"She tried to kill Dani." Rahne gasped, catching her breath, her eyes a deep brown.

"What?" Sam cursed, Athena joining the search with Dani pulling at pieces of paper. She hoped one had the answer to how to get out of this place.

"That test? It wasn't a test. She tried to kill her." Rahne cried.

"My file. 'Patient reviles authority. But her fragmented psyche and base hatred for humans... makes her a prime candidate for the program. Conclusion... A killer... with limitless potential. Recommend continued investment.'" Athena grabbed the file beside Illyana's reading her name in bold.

Her eyes scanned the page, a gasp escaping her lips. Athena stumbled back. The piece of paper fell to the ground. Her gasp had caused the room to fall silent. Sam's eyes widened when he watched Athena's eyes lit up, brighter than he had ever seen them. Athena took a sharp inhale as her breathing spaced out more erratically.

"Athena, what's the matter? What's it say?" Sam stepped closer to her, Rahne picking up to discarded piece of paper. Athena avoided the concerned glances looking to the floor in shock.

Then, the atmosphere changed. Athena muttered profanities under her breath, her entire body lit up sparks running across her skin. She summoned her spear looking up at Sam, Rahne gasping after reading the paper.

"I'm going to kill the b*tch." Athena spat moving past Sam, Roberto closing his eyes at the brightness radiating off of Athena.

Her angry cursing moved out of the room, Sam trailing after her as fast as his limp could take him.

"What- What is it Rahne!" Roberto stuttered, ignoring Illyana's glares at him.

"She wasn't taken here, she was sold to Reyes." Rahne covered her mouth, Roberto snatching the paper out of her hand.

"What do you me- Holy Shit! Her parents are alive." Roberto cursed following Athena and Sam out avidly, Illyana summoning her sword similarly.

"Dani, She's going to kill Reyes." Rahne looked up at Dani worriedly, Dani locking hands with her as the pair followed the group.
