Jaden lies on his grey colored bed. He puts his hands behind his head and looks up. "Me and Alexis, I think Yubel couldn't be more wrong. A faint meowing noise rings from the ground. It was Pharaoh, used to be Professor Banner's cat. Jaden picks up his deck from the floor and stares at the top card, Elemental HERO Neos. "Well, with only 21 days left, I better make this year count with some sweet duels." Jaden smirks. A knocking sound came from the door. Jaden threw his deck in his pocket and ran to the door. At his door was an Obelisk blue student with black hair and yellow eyes. "So, you're Jaden Yuki? I've heard a lot about you." He says. "I have constructed my deck just to face you. Let's duel!" He shouts.
Syrus runs up to Alexis on the gym court. Syrus breathes heavy until Alexis asks "What's wrong Syrus?" "Jaden- He is in a duel, with, that kid, Kobe." Syrus exhales and inhales. "Wait, thee Kobe? The one they say that's almost as good as Zane?" Alexis asks. "Yep." Syrus says. "I heard he has a space deck, let's get going Syrus!" Alexis throws a basketball on the ground and runs out of the gym. "Were coming to support you Jaden." Alexis mumbles.
Jaden: (4000 LP) Alright, Kobe was it? Get your game on.
Kobe: Oh please, you'll be easy to defeat. (4000 LP)
Jaden: We'll see. I'll start!
Jaden picks up a card from his deck and slaps it on his red striped duel disk.
Jaden: I summon Elemental Hero Bubbleman! (Atk: 800) Then ill set a face down!
Kobe: That's it?
Kobe draws a card from his deck.
Kobe: I summon Space Rocket! (Atk: 1900) Then I activate the equip spell Rocketry Wings! It gives my rocket an extra 1000 attack points! (Atk: 2900) Now attack Bubbleman!
Jaden: Gah! (1900 LP) I activate my trap! HEROS WAKE! Since an Elemental Hero was destroyed I can summon a new Hero and you will take damage equal to his defense points! I summon Elemental Hero Neos! (Atk: 2500 Def:2000)
Kobe: Oh nooo! (2000 LP)
Jaden: My turn!
Jaden draws a card as Alexis and Syrus run up to the duel. "Jaden is losing!" Syrus gasps. "Cmon Jaden!" Alexis cheers. Jaden pauses and looks at Alexis. Jaden is puzzled how they got here. "Heh. Maybe I do got those unknown feelings." Jaden mumbles. "Alright! Time to win!" Jaden thrusts up his arm.
Jaden: I am going to summon Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird! (Atk: 800) Now I merge my Neo-Spacian with Neos to fusion summon Elemental HERO Air Neos! (Atk: 2500)
Kobe: So what. My rocket has 2900 attack points.
Jaden: I didn't say I was done. I activate the field spell, Neo Space! It gives my Elemental Hero Air Neos an extra 500 attack point boost! (Atk: 3000) Now, Neos attack his rocket!
Kobe: Agh! (1900 LP)
Jaden: Now, for the last act I activate Contact Out! It splits Neos and Air Hummingbird back to their original forms! Now, Neos attack and win this duel! (Atk: 3000) And you too Hummingbird! (Atk: 800)
Kobe: Noooooo! Agh! (0 LP)
~~JADEN YUKI WINS~~
"Way to play Jay." Syrus says. "Good job. They say he was supposed to be as strong as Zane." Alexis says. "He was a great opponent!" Jaden smiles. "Good duel, Jaden." Kobe laughs. "You didn't do bad yourself Kobe." Jaden laughs.
Later on that night Alexis knocks on Jaden's dorm room door. Jaden opens it and waves. "Oh hey Alexis, what's up?" Jaden asks. "Wanted to know if I could stay here tonight." Alexis asks. "Sure why not." Jaden steps to the side. Alexis enters his room with a blue suit case. She sets it by the door. Jaden shuts the door behind her. "What's up Lex?" Jaden asks. "I have been needing to talk to you.." Alexis says.
"About what?" Jaden asks.
"Us, Jaden." Alexis says.
