Jaden's POV
Alright. It's time for me and Alexis to duel! We approached the duel field the very next day with no problems at all until Alexis says "So, What happened the other day,"
"No need to explain yourself Lex, I didn't hate it." I wink at her.
Our two opponents came to the duel field. One had bright grey hair and the other had dark blue hair. I'm assuming they are sisters. Alexis and I put on our duel disks and were ready to get our game on.
DUEL POV
Crowler: Welcome students to day one of the 20th Anniversary of Duel Academy! Today Jaden Yuki and Alexis Rhodes will team up against Silver and Splash Castle!
Jaden: (smirks) Ha. I was right.
Crowler: You are all familiar with the rules, so begin the duel!
Jaden & Alexis: Game on! (4000 LP)
Silver & Splash: Ah yeah! (4000 LP)
Silver: I will kick this duel off. (draw) I summon Silver Swordsman Lv 3! (Atk: 1000) Next I set one card facedown.
Alexis: I'm next! (draw) I summon Snow Fairy! (Def: 200) I also set two cards facedown.
Splash: (draw) I summon Blue Swordsman Lv 3! (Atk: 1000) I set one facedown card.
Jaden: Well looks like I'm up. This is weird. Splash and Silver did the exact move. Alexis is confident with her fairy so I wont touch it. I feel like I'm walking into a trap. Ill be cautious. (draw) I summon Elemental Hero Wildheart! (Atk: 1500) Next I play the spell Hero's Bond! Since I summoned Wildheart I can now summon an additional two hero's to join the field! I summon Elemental Hero Woodsman, (Def: 2000) and Elemental Hero Clayman! (Def: 2000) Go Wildheart, attack Silver Swordsman!
Silver: I activate my trap Silver Slash! This activates when a monster attacks my swordsman, the monster is destroyed and you take 800 points of damage!
Jaden: That would be the case but Wildheart isn't affected by traps.
Silver: What?! Gah! (3500 LP)
Jaden: I set one card facedown.
Silver: Jaden Yuki you will pay! (draw) I activate the spell Silver Shine! It allows me to summon any monster in my hand without tribute.
Jaden: Uh-oh.
Silver: I summon Silver Valkyrie Magician! (Atk: 2150)
Alexis: All bark and no bite.
Silver: Valkyrie attack Wildheart!
Alexis: I activate the trap Snow Calling! This forces you to attack my fairy instead!
Jaden: Lex!
Alexis: Ug. When Snow Fairy is destroyed you take 500 points of damage!
Silver: Gah! (3000 LP) I end my turn with a set card.
Alexis: (draw) I activate my facedown, Monster Reborn to bring back Snow Fairy! (Atk: 700) Next I play Polymerization to fuse this Snow Fairy with the one in my hand to summon, Snow Paladin! (Atk: 1900) Now Snow Paladin's ability kicks in. For every Ice or Water attribute monster I remove from play, you take 800 points of damage. And then Paladin gains 500 attack points for every banished card.
Silver: Agh!! (1400 LP)
Splash: Sister!
Alexis: Now Paladin, attack Blue Swordsman! (Atk: 2900)
Splash: I activate a trap,
Jaden: I activate the trap, Trap Jammer to cancel out your trap!
Splash: Sister.
Silver: We lost.
Splash: Agh!! (0 LP)
Yubel's POV
The crowed roared when Alexis' attack ended. Jaden and Alexis won and I was proud of Jaden. Were ready to watch the next upcoming duels for the next couple of days. I hope we face off against Zane. I have a score to settle.
