Chapter Ten: Egyptian Gods

Jaden's POV

I rush out the duel field. I just saw Alexis go down this hall but it's like she vanished. I gasp. Those heavy eyes I only saw at one other time. When my friend Jesse was controlled by Yubel. I cant believe that was only a couple months ago that we got back from the dimension. I'm sad Jesse, Jim, Axel and them left. I wonder if something is controlling Alexis. "Jaden." A image of Yubel rubs by Jaden's side. "Yeah Yubel?" I answer. "I have a feeling something completely ancient is controlling Alexis. Let's head toward the abandoned dorm." Yubel says. "Well then lets go!" I eyes flash green and orange. I jet down the hall with determination. I wonder if Yubel ever thinks I ever judge her judgment. I mean her soul fused with mine after all this time a few months ago. I hope Alexis is OK.

Normal POV

Jesse Anderson walks away the dock at Duel Academy. "I felt it Ruby, That impulse of power. It felt like it radiated everywhere. I wonder if Jaden felt it too. I would think so since him and Yubel are fused together." Jesse says. A spirit of Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle appears on Jesse's shoulder. "If Its what I think it is then were in trouble Ruby." Jesse says.

Jaden runs toward the abandoned dorm appearing from the forest. Alexis stood in front of the abandoned dorm with heavy powerless eyes. "Lex!" Jaden shouts. "You made it here, Jaden Yuki." A strong voice bursts from Alexis. "You're not Alexis, What's going on?!" Jaden demands. Alexis whips out three cards from her pocket.

"What are those?!"

Alexis flips them around and they were the three Egyptian God cards, Slifer the Sky Dragon, Obelisk the Tormentor, and the Winged Dragon of Ra.

"The Egyptian Gods." Yubel says.

Jaden takes one step forward. "What's going on?" Jaden asks. "My name is Zorc. I'm an ancient deity. I almost destroyed the pharaoh five thousand years ago." Zorc says from Alexis' body. "What do you want with me?" Jaden asks. "I need your spirit cards to help release the seal below the academy to get the Sacred Beasts. " Zorc says. "Then duel me in your true form, not with Alexis!" Jaden yells. "Well if you want your friend you will have to win." Zorc says. "Whatever! You better be ready to get your game on!" Jaden throws on his duel disk. "Jaden, be careful. If Zorc already possesses the Egyptian Gods and he wants the Sacred Beasts he must be planning something big." "I got this." Jaden says. "Wait!!" Jesse's voice yells from the forest. Jesse appears out of the forest. "Jesse?" Jaden says.

"Yep it's me Jay." Jesse smiles.

"You're both here." Zorc says. "So you needed Jesse too?" Jaden asks. "Yes. Your spirit cards will help me achieve my goal." Zorc says. "Listen up, I may not know who you are or know your goals but I do know that me and Jaden will defeat you and save Alexis!" Jesse slides on his blue duel disk.

DUEL POV

Jaden: (4000 LP)

Jesse: (4000 LP)

Zorc: I will battle you two with 8000 lifepoints. (8000 LP)

Jaden: It will make no difference Zorc, I will free Alexis!

Jesse: I got your back Jay.

Jaden: I'll start! (draw) I summon Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird! (Atk: 800) Now his effect activates giving me 500 lifepoints for every card in your hand! That's five! (6500 LP) Then I set one card facedown. I'm done.

Zorc: Im up next. (draw) I summon Dark Peasant! (Def: 600) Next I activate the Dark Deity spell card! I give up 1000 lifepoints. (7000 LP) Then on my next turn I will be able to summon a monster in my hand with no tribute. I set two facedown cards. I end my turn.

Jesse: I'm next! Hang tight yall! (draw) I summon Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth! (Atk: 1700) I end my turn with one facedown!

Jaden: Alright, we got a decent start but this is only the beginning.
