Chapter Three: What Alexis Said..

Jaden stands up against the door. "Us?" Jaden questions. "Yeah, listen Jaden. I..." Alexis says.

"If it's because of gym when I threw that ball accidently at your-"

"It has nothing to do with that." Alexis frowns.

"Oh." Jaden laughs.

            Alexis puts her bags down next to my brown desk. She turns towards me. "I think I like you Jaden." Alexis cutely grins.

Jaden's POV

Is this literally happening just now? I invite a woman in my dorm and next thing I know she likes me. Maybe that's why Chazz can't get a girl; he doesn't have my lady charm. I didn't mean to but I actually laughed at my own thoughts. I don't know what to say. I never had someone like me before. I always focused on dueling. Is that why Alexis never told on us two years ago. I wonder...

Alexis' POV

Well, I said it. I'm staring at Jaden, the love of my life. These feelings must have started when I first dueled him, when he saved himself and Syrus from expulsion. Does he like me back or did I waste my time. I only asked to stay here tonight to try and know Jaden more, especially after the incident in the other dimension two months ago. Man, I wonder how he felt about this. Maybe I'm over reacting. "Lex." He said. I smiled as I heard my name. This is it, Jaden please I want to be yours.

Normal POV

Jaden takes off his red blazer and tosses it next to his bags in the right corner.  Jaden stands tall with his black shirt and his sweatpants.  "I feel the same for you." Jaden smiles at Alexis. "Oh yay!" Alexis cries of happiness and runs up to Jaden and hugs him. "I have always wanted this, a more serious relationship." Alexis smiles as her grip on Jaden tightens. "Well our first act as a couple should be to duel each other. Then we can tell everyone else." Jaden smiles down at Alexis. "Okay, but I really changed around my deck, it's completely different now." Alexis says. "I bet it will be great!" Jaden replies.

The next morning Alexis and Jaden prepare to duel right outside the Slifer dorm. Jaden left his Slifer blazer inside the dorm room. He wore his black shirt and his jeans with his red shoes. He put on his Slifer styled duel disk and put in his deck. Alexis wore her blue blazer and a blue mini skirt with blue shoes. Alexis set her deck in her Obelisk styled duel disk.                                                                                                     

Jaden: You ready Lex? (4000 LP)

Alexis: As ready as ever Jaden. (4000 LP)

Jaden picks up a card from his deck and smirks.

Jaden: I'm going to start with Elemental Hero Woodsman! (Def: 2000) Then I set two cards!

Alexis: Not bad Jaden, but you will have to do a lot better to defeat me.

Alexis whips a card from her deck.

Alexis: I activate the spell Cold Enchantment!

Jaden: A spell already?!

Alexis: That's right and this one is special, for every water type monster on my field that is destroyed this card gains one Cold Counter.

Jaden: What does that do?

Alexis: You will see eventually. I set one card facedown and summon Ice Princess in attack mode! (Atk: 1450) Your turn Jaden!

Jaden: I can tell this duel won't be easy, but I'll still win!
