Chapter Six: Kiss at Sundown

  Alexis' POV

I lost the duel.

I had Jaden right where I wanted and then it was like magic and he just blew me away. That was for sure the best duel I have ever experienced.  I bet Jaden could say the same. I kneeled down in defeat once my life point meter hit zero. Jaden walked over here with a smile on his face. "And that's game Alexis. Now let me help you up!" He said. Jaden grabbed my hand and brought me back up onto my feet. "Are you OK? I can carry you." Jaden winks as he picks me up into his arms. He carried me around Duel Academy. It was still light out but the sun was beginning to go down. I run my finger down Jaden's neck. "I can walk now." I smile to him. He sets me down gently and then I lock my hand with his and we continue strolling through the island.

Jaden's POV

Alexis and I held hands the entire time. At one point I told her that she should get her stuff so she can sleep in her own bed tonight. We walked back to the Slifer dorm (still holding hands) and she runs in and grabs her bags. "Why can't I stay here Jaden?" Alexis asked me. I couldn't help but smirk as I thought of a response. "I want you to be warm and comfortable in your obelisk bed. Don't want the roaches to eat you alive do you?" I laughed. "I guess." She sighed. She held a blue bag in her left hand and had a blue backpack on. She locked hands again with me until we made it to the Obelisk Blue Dorm. (Mind tell you this is the place me and Syrus almost got busted at a couple years ago)

Alexis' POV

Jaden and I walked up to my dorm. (The female Obelisk Blue dorm) He looked at me and smiled. "It's sundown. You should get some rest." He winked. "I will but first," I said. I puckered my lips and smiled. "And what Lex?" He asked. I run into his chest kissing him (on the mouth) and It felt magical. I can tell I took Jaden by surprise.

Jaden's POV

Oh my gosh. Alexis and I were actually kissing. I never thought this would happen except for in a fanfiction. Well we stood there engaged to one another as the sun went down next to us. It felt magical in every way and I don't regret being in the Girls Dorm now. I put my arms around Alexis to hold her next to me. I guess Yubel was right, I do like Alexis. Maybe even more than that. Maybe I love her.

Alexis' POV

After what felt like an eternity of pleasure I backed away from Jaden. "Well I'll go get some rest then" I say winking at Jaden as I roll my bag into my dorm. Jaden Yuki, I think I love you. I just smile to myself as I let myself into my room. I plop on my bed and go to sleep imagining Jaden, holding me like he did tonight. Those nice warm thoughts.

Normal POV

Jaden returned back to the Slifer dorm with a smile on his face. A image of Yubel appears by Jaden. "I was right wasn't I, Jaden?" Yubel asks. "Yeah you were right Yubel, You were right. But now I only got 20 days left. And I'm going to live them up!" Jaden says with excitement.
