"I'm so sorry officers it won't happen again." Our mom said to the cops.
Our mom started arguing with Steven for underage drinking.
"Laurel just know that me and Ellie didn't drink. Neither did belly" jere said standing up for us.
"Your the oldest, what's gotten into you?" Our mom asked conrad.
"And when did you leave?" She asked belly.
"During yalls movie." She confessed.
"What are you wearing?" She asked her once again.
"It's taylors. And why am I the only one not allowed to go out? Even Ellie is younger than me and she's aloud to leave! What's up with that?" Belly defended herself.
Of course, once again me being younger is brought into the conversation.
"Just.. go to bed guys." Our mom said with a sigh as we all went upstairs into our rooms.
I walked downstairs and sat at the island counter while jere was making food.
"But my hangover smoothie, cures all" Jeremiah said.
"Can you just hurry up?" Conrad groaned out.
Jere poured the smoothie into a cup as I picked it up and brought it over to conrad.
"Here dipshit" I said wacking his arm so he would sit up and take the drink.
"All right cmom I can't be late for my first day of work!" Steven whined.
"All right all right." Jere said grabbing his keys.
Belly walked through the back door quietly.
"Omg. Belly is gonna be a debutante!" Susannah said walking into the kitchen.
"Oh right" I said handing Susannah my paper with a check on the accepts box.
"We need to go shopping" She said with a gasp.
"Sounds expensive" mom complained.
"It's on me." Susannah said.
"Now, who is gonna be the escort for belly and who is gonna be the escort for ellie?" Susannah ask.
"I'll go with ellie." Jere said at the same time when conrad said "I'll go with Elle if she wants."
I took a deep breath and put my head down. "Wow guys stop fighting over me" belly said sarcastically.
"Well I'm not going with either of you, I'll get my own date." Belly said.
"Hurry! We have to go shopping!" Susannah said.
We were now out at different boutiques getting outfits for the different days of the balls.
We got into the dressing room for the white dressed for the ball. It was easier getting me a dress than belly because she's very picky.
I went with a dress inspired by Cinderella nut ot had a build it corset.
I was scrolling on my phone while belly was trying on dresses because honestly this was boring waiting.
Our mom drove us up to the country club where we had a class for a tea thing. Belly was wearing a blue checkered dress with bees while I had a sage green strapless dress on with daisies.
"Have fun girls!" Our mom calls out as we walk up to the building.
"What are the odds everyone here are all bitches?" I asked with a laugh.
"10" Belly said as we continued laughing on our way in.
As we were walking to the entrance we saw Jeremiah holding towels shirtless in his lifeguard shorts.
"Wow. You look great" he said to me but then complimented belly as well.
"Let me walk yall over." He insisted.
I looked him up and down and looked at belly. "What?" He asked us.
"Nothing, let's go" I said as he set the towels down and I looked arms with him.
We walked uo the stairs and into the room with all the other girls and it gets quiet.
"Jeremiah." A woman says walking over.
"Paige." Jeremiah says as she kissed her hand.
"This is Isabel. " He says introducing belly.
"And this is Elizabeth. The one my mom told you about. My future wife." He says with a wink as I slap his arm.
"Yall are late" Paige says to us.
"Were so sorry" Belly says
"Your at table to" Paige informes us as jere gives us a smile and we walk over.
"Hi." Belly says to the girls.
They all greet us quietly as we sit down.
"So where are you guys applying?" A girl ask us.
"Their only sophomores, right?" The girl next to us ask, who so happens to be the girl conrad was kissing. Nicole.
"Yeah, we're juniors in the fall." I tell them.
"So are you and Jeremiah like a thing? Like is he taking you to the ball or?" A girl named gigi ask me.
"He offered as well as conrad. But I'm leaving conrad open for someone else so I'll probably go with jere unless I find a different date." I said. I didn't mean to keep conrad open for Nicole but for belly.
"Oh. Gigi has had this thing for Jeremiah since he got abs!" Shayla, Steven's girlfriend said.
"Oh so your noticing has abs?" A girl ask.
"Oh please she's to busy eye fucking the waiter."
"Guys that's bellys and Ellie brother"
"Disgusting." I said taking a drink of the tea and rolling my eyes.
When the woman Paige started telling us about the debutante ball the girls at the table started passing a flask around and pouring the alcohol into their tea.
They passed it to belly and she's mad at saying no so she takes it but I take it and handed it back to Nicole.
"I'll be back real quick!" Belly told us as she ran out the door. I could see her putting her contact into cams phone and I smiled. Maybe i wont need to leave conrad open for her after all.
