I walked down the stairs with Jeremiah following close behind as we heard conrad on the phone with someone.

"Is there anywayd I can-" he started saying but probably got cut off by whoever was on the phone.

"No? Okay thanks for your help." He said as he hung up and tossed his phone on the counter.

"Morning" I said as me and jere walked over.

"Well, what's plan b?" Jeremiah asked sitting down on a stool.

"There's no time for a plan b. Aunt Julia is already here. She's at ocean harbor We talked for like a second on the phone." Conrad explained.

"I don't get it why? What's the rush?" I asked.

"It doesn't matter why! This isn't a game." Conrad snapped.

"Sorry. Just go back to sleep I'll handle it." He said walking out of the kitchen.

"Can you talk some sense into him? Your the only person who can get through to conrad." He asked me.

"He may have listened to me at one point but he won't now." I said.

"Uhm. I'm hungry, are you..hungry?" I asked opening the cabinet to reveal absolutely no food.

"I can go buy some food? It's right next to ocean harbor" Jeremiah said with a smirk.

"Were gonna go find aunt julia?" I asked and he smiled.

"Were gonna find aunt Julia." He said putting a fist up and I fist bumped him.

We got into his jeep with flowers and we started driving to ocean harbor.

"So what's the plan? Talk it out? Bribery? Murder?" I asked.

"Wow okay I was gonna say let's stick to my strengths." Jere said.

"Okay so charm offensive? Hence the flowers." I said.

"Yep. And I can't remember anything about her so im gonna wing it. And conrad probably went balls on her si Were gonna do this the nice way" he said.

"Yeah conrad was never good at hiding his feelings when he's mad." I said.

"You gonna ask my sister to dance or what fisher?" Steven asked Jeremiah at our prom.

He stood up from his seat and gave me his hand as I grabbed it and he guided me to the dance floor.

He rested his hands on my waits and I wrapped my arms around his neck connecting my hands in the back.

"I might just go home after prom is that all right?" He asked me.

"I thought, that you were spending the night?" I asked him.

"If I spend the night I'm just gonna ruin it ellie." He told me.

"Jere.. did I do something?" I asked him.

"Can we just please go outside and talk?" He asked me.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me outside before I could answer.

"I know this is hard with everything going on but don't shut me out." I begged.

"I feel like I just keep doing things wrong when it comes to you. I don't know what I want." He said.
