"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHRIS!"

Valerie smiled as she woke up Chris for his birthday, with breakfast in bed, of course.

Chris blinked, his eyes opened, finally focusing on Valerie with a smile.

"Hey there."

"I made you breakfast in bed," she smiled, moving hair from his face.

"You did?"

She smiled, "mhm!"

Chris sat up in bed, flipping his hair over and tackling Valerie down, prepping her with kisses all over her face.

"Whats this for?" She asked, laughing, hugging onto Chris.

"Being the best," Chris smiled in between kisses.

"The best what? Girl, roommate? Girlfriend?"

He shrugged, kissing down her neck, "Something like that."

"How about," Valerie sat up, caressing Chris's hair, "we eat, shower, and then go out? Maybe go to Jeff's to celebrate you and Stones' birthday."

"Shower together?" Chris asked, smiling.

"Whatever you want, birthday boy," she smiled.

"Shower time!" He picked her up, bridal style, wisking her away.

"Ohh stoney!" Valerie peeked around the corner of the back yard.

"What?" Stone looked up, moving his hat a little from his face.

"Happy birthday," Valerie smiled, holding out a present.

"What did you get me? You shouldn't have gotten me anything."

Valerie handed him the present, rolling her eyes, "open the fucking thing."

"Sheesh! Bosy woman," Stone laughed, looking inside the bag.

"The fuck is this?" Stone asked, grabbed a shirt.

"Look, stupid!"

He opened the shirt up, seeing a signature, "downing or tipton?" He repeated, looking at the signature.

"Both of them signed this? What the fuck? How?" Stone looked up at Valerie, "how?"

"I have my ways," Valerie shurrged, flicking her hair behind her and walking back inside.

"He likes the gift?" Chris asked as Valerie sat next to him.

"Obviously," she smiled as she grabbed chris's hand, "Having a good birthday?"

"Good now that you're here," he smiled as he kissed her cheek.

Valerie wanted Chris to ask her out so badly. She was almost willing to do it herself, almost anyway. She was a bit impatient when it came to these things- she just wanted to be a label on it, really.

"So chris," Jeff smiled as he tossed Chris a beer, "how does it feel to be 27?"

"I don't know, it's a lucky age to make sure I get through first," Chris laughed as he opened the beer, "ask me that when I turn 28."

"Freaky," Jeff shook his head.

Kim, Matt, and Ben come through the door, with a large cake.

"Cake coming through!"

"Is that for chris?" Valerie asked, watching them shuffle threw.

"Yep!"

"What about stone?"
