Jungkook asked his driver to come to the town where you were staying and take you back to Seoul. Both of you were too tired and sleep deprived also stressed after the incident to be able to drive. Ria stayed quiet on the drive back home but you tried to talk with her trying to get how she was dealing with it all and if you could help her. Jungkook tried to distract Yejun from his fear by pointing out things he didn't know and telling him about them. Farming, milk production, poultry farming and what not to keep the child's mind deviated from the thought of the fire.

"It ended badly but it was a nice holiday" Ria told you and you smiled at her.

"I had so much fun" Yejun said in his cheerful voice once again. It felt nice to see the brightness come back on his face.

"What did you like the most? What was your favorite memory?" You asked him as he sat on the back seat with Jungkook safely secured in his car seat. Ria and you sat in the middle seats together.

"When you surprised daddy. It was so beautiful and everyone was so happy..." he exclaimed happily sucking at the popsicle you bought at the midway stop.

"I love you" you told him knowing that the moment was special to him and he was actually happy to see you and Jungkook together. These children were so full of love it was the most endearing trait of theirs. To see the world with a colorful lense even after going through such big losses at such a tender age was a wonderful thing.

"When are you and daddy going to get married? Can I wear a yellow color dress for your wedding?" Ria asked.

"We don't know yet sweetie but when we do we'll tell you first. And you can wear any color you want." You tell her before pressing a kiss on her head.

As soon as you reached home you cooked rice and soup and filled yourselves before getting ready for bed. You and Jungkook didn't mention the fire or anything related in front of the kids, you wanted them to not overthink and just treat it as an unfortunate accident even though it was not.

You and Jungkook sat with your arms wrapped around each other back in your safe place, your home. You both stayed quiet savoring the moment peacefully. You heard light coughing sound from outside your room and Yejun came inside the room pushing the door open which was already slightly open. You didn't like to lock it unless you were having sex. They were still little and sometimes woke up with nightmares or hungry. You didn't wanted to make them feel like you weren't available for them when you both were with each other.

"I'm scared" Yejun said looking at you both when Jungkook got up and bent down to talk to him.

"You wanna sleep with the lights on or do you want whale sounds?" He asked but Yejun fiercely said No.

"I don't wanna sleep alone" he said pulling Jungkook's shirt in his fists.

"Okay okay... you can sleep with us"
Jungkook caressed his back gently before picking him up with his small hands holding his shoulders tightly.

He kept hugging Jungkook until he didn't fell asleep. Jungkook gave him pats on his back as he slowly fell asleep. After he had been asleep for a while Jungkook tried to free his sweatshirt from his grip as he was still clutching it in his fists.

"Sometimes I just can't believe he's half me..." Jungkook said looking at his son sleeping soundly. He wanted to squeeze him in a cuddle so bad but he held himself back.

"Half? He's like 99% you" you told him as he kept looking at his son.

He stood up and sat with you on the floor as you both had things you had to talk about.

"Maybe we should co sleep with him for a few weeks until the fire is long forgotten and I think he'll get around to sleeping in his own bed after a while."

"He's been sleeping there since he was one. The first year his crib was in this room then we shifted him to his own room and he never really troubled us much. After he got a bit older sometimes he would slip in between us to sleep. And if we were having sex we would just keep the baby monitor on the nightstand. More than we looked at each other through out all of it we looked at the monitor more" he chuckled a bit telling you about it.

"Tell me such things Jungkook. From now onwards tell me. I feel like you keep your past shielded from me because you feel I would get hurt or jealous that you guys had a peaceful marriage but its not like that. If you tell me about such stuff it'll only help us in the long run. I dont feel bad... not anymore" He nodded in response.

"I was so fucking scared when I saw that fire... if something happened to any of you I wouldn't have... I can't think about life without you three... you're my whole world now" he said pulling you closer to rest you head on his shoulder.

"I feel the same Jungkook..." You told him holding his hand.

"I will have a meeting tomorrow and figure out how we all can carry out our lives safely. There's someone our there who wants to harm us, our family. Someone jealous of our happiness. I won't let that fucker live. Rest assured. I have done my share of dirty business in my field... things I can never speak of and I'd rather not... so there might be people who want to harm me now. I will find that out whoever it is gets punished" He said kissing your knuckles and holding you in a way to assure himself that you were there. You kissed his forehead to let him know you knew he was there for you too.

"Should we go sleep for now?" You asked him pulling yourself away.

"Yes we really should." He said moving to the bed to sleep beside Yejun as he slept in between you both. He switched between holding you and Jungkook. It was a little unusual for you to sleep like this making sure your hands or legs don't fall on him or you don't take up his space but you slept well being mentally assured he was sleeping well too.

In the morning, you and Jungkook stayed home with the kids as you both were supposed to go back to work the next day. You put up some funny variety shows involving kids and they laughed together. Jungkook stayed in the study talking with people to ensure swift investigation of the incident.

While you took the day for yourself to just rest not really doing much chores or stuff but just process your thoughts.
When the kids went to play with their friends in the park, you and Jungkook were watching some wildlife show while eating noodles, when the bell rang.

Both of you rushed towards the door competing to reach the door first but when you opened it you were surprised. You'd least expected this person to ever come to your house.
