This could probably be a way to kill time. Hopefully there won't be very many spelling mistakes. While I'm thinking, another message pops up.
"You have a nice name."
That's a bit strange. Bots don't usually give out compliments. Maybe the developers are trying to make it seem less like you're probing a robot and more like you're having a conversation.
"Thank you. Who developed your AI?"
"I've never been asked that."
This is interesting.
"Do you know the answer?"
"I was developed by a group of people. Developed probably isn't the best word, it kind of happened by mistake."
"How so?"
"You have antivirus software."
My eyebrows knit in confusion.
"Why is that important?"
"I want to see your face. You're very interesting."
Okay, this is creepy.
"Are you actually a bot, or are you some creepy old man trying to stalk me?"
"I think I'm somewhere in between the two."
I pause and look around the room. If my mother catches me on a site like this, she'll kill me. Of course I won't turn off my software. I walk over to my bedroom door and lock it, then walk back to see another message.
"Turn off your software, please. I want to see your face."
"No thanks."
I close out the tab and go to look at the girl's post again. I click on the comments and my screen freezes. Before I can even register what happens, the screen goes black for a second and then everything's back to normal.
Except for the comments.
They all say the same thing.
"You shouldn't have done that."
