I felt like Robyn never got a proper x reader story since her first appearance in Volume 7 so here it is.
-
Years you have spent being a Huntsman that was born and raised in Mantle. Those years lead to you turning 27. You're a kind hearted man, and it's no secret that you're friends with Robyn Hill and her Happy Huntresses. But, when Ruby and her friends arrived to Mantle, that only filled you with more hope. Hope to... push back whoever destroyed Beacon. To bring them to justice.
Currently, you've been walking through the streets of Mantle on your own for a good minute until you feel a hand grasp your shoulder. You turn around and are met with Robyn frowning at you.
Robyn: "I'm glad I found you, Y/N. You better have a good reason for disappearing on me, especially when the upcoming election is making everyone anxious!"
Robyn lets go of you and steps back, resting her hands on her hips, her frown turning into a confident smile.
Robyn: "I suppose I should be grateful you haven't gotten yourself into any trouble."
Y/N: No, I haven't. (you grin) "Not yet."
Robyn chuckles. Her tone is still friendly.
Robyn: "That sounds like a challenge, now doesn't it?" (Her voice becomes more serious) "No, but really. You should be careful, Y/N. With the election only two months away, we can't be sure about what Jacques might be planning."
Y/N: "Jacques' frail ass bones wouldn't last in a fight, Robyn. I'm okay."
Robyn lets out a small laugh, shaking her head.
Robyn: "It's not Jacques getting into a fist fight I'm worried about. He doesn't seem like the directly aggressive type. But his thugs, on the other hand... Those could prove to be problematic."
Y/N: "Yeah, that's Jacques. The feather mustached bastard."
Robyn's smile fades slightly, becoming much more serious.
Robyn: "Yes, he's despicable. I know he's capable of terrible things. So, I'm counting on you to be extra careful until this election is over. I need every one of my supporters in one piece."
Y/N: "Will do. And Robyn? Stay safe."
You give her a look of adoration. Robyn's expression brightens up. A small smile appears on her face.
Robyn: "Oh, don't you worry about me. I'm not the one who should be concerned about safety." (As she says the last word, she winks) "Plus, I'm not the one who's a wanted criminal."
You chuckle, getting her joke.
Y/N: "You have point."
You hug Robyn before running off, shooting your grappling hook in the air. Robyn laughs.
Robyn: "Hey! Wait for me!" She shouts after you, before grabbing her own weapon and running off as well.
Y/N: "So it's a race you want? I've never known a politician to be so eager!"
Robyn: "Is that a challenge? Okay. Now you're definitely asking for it, Y/N!"
Minutes pass as you and Robyn fool around Atlas with a race, eventually, it ends with the two of you stopping on a rooftop. Even in the moonlight you can't deny Robyn's beauty. Robyn is panting slightly, sweat dripping off her forehead and down her face. She is just about to catch her breath, when out of the corner of her eye, she catches you staring at her. She turns to look at you, her cheeks flushing. She clears her throat, turning away from you and looking out of the window where she sees Mantle in all of its glory.
