Their hearts were stroked. Lucas slammed the table hard and Cindy was panting heavily.
"Why... Why couldn't you stop them!?" Lucas asked.
"Lucas, honey, that's not how we should speak with guests." Emily said.
"Mom! Now is not the time! Do you see we could get thrown off the island!? Be supportive, for once!" His mom looked down and didn't say a word."How do you suspect we save the island? We can't let this happen." Lucas asked the president.
"I don't know... I tried to help, but no one trusted you..."
"What do you mean? We saved the island and the entire world from a spreading demon! They can't kick us out!" Cindy cried.
They all were silent and thought for a moment. "Wait. Wait! I know what you have to do!" The president grabbed the map and pointed on the island. "You three just have to cross this ocean side to the island, right? Well I have a way you can cross unharmed." He got up from his seat and asked Emily if they could come with him.
"I don't mind. Am I able to?"
"Of course! I understand." He turned to the heroes. "You three. I want you to come with me. I haves something to show you." He opened the front door to his car and held it open for them.
They entered his car and were driven off. It was quite a drive. He was driving them to a building at the near top of Kronos Mountain, in Kronos City. The building is called "The Mountain Home." It is a place for court and lawmaking businesses. Even though it is almost impossible for Laws to be made. It is also home to the President of Hoskar.
Seeing the building, surrounded by complete ice was a beautiful sight. On the end of The Home is a giant waterfall that goes down an entire to the ocean, surrounding all of Hoskar. The water is somehow so warm, not even the coldest bit of ice can surpass. Legend even says the entire island was once a giant terrain, connected to the land of Pangaea. But once the world cracked into pieces, Hoskar was alone. The coldest mountain of Hoskar suddenly erupted with water, covering millions of the land, leaving one simple island left to remain. It meant the stream becoming the ocean. That was the birth of Hoskar.
When they parked the car, the three and Emily exited the vehicle and followed the president inside the massive building. They all dried off the snow and continued walking.
"I don't think you've noticed, but I'm your new elected president." The president suddenly said.
"What?!" Emily shouted. This left everyone with eyes on her.
"Yup. Your old president died of a heart attack and needed a new president. He asked me if I could stand in his chair and help Hoskar in as many ways as I can. I accepted his offer because it gave me a chance..."
"A chance of what?" Lucas asked.
"Your old president made these laws tremendously dangerous. He's the reason we all have lived a horrible life. I couldn't handle it. But he was also a dear friend of mine. So I couldn't stop him. But now that I'm the new president, I can set things right. I can help the island become a better home again."
"Can't you start now?" Cindy asked.
"Unfortunately, no. I was going to plan it, but once this incident arrived, it pressured my work. Making it difficult for me to accomplish. But, I know that if you can possibly fix this, it won't be as hard as it should be. I also really love what you did with that demon. I believe you can do it again."
"We can,but... We have no way of doing it. We don't have anything to cross this vast ocean." Lucas said, sadly.
The president and the others entered an elevator and he clicked the very bottom button. "Maybe you do." He said quietly. The elevator went down fast.
As they were going down, there was a metal sheet they could see through. As they were going down, they saw a cave behind a waterfall. It was the same one from the legend of Hoskar's birth. Nobody knew there was a cave behind the waterfall. They even saw an entire dock inside as well. There were only a couple small boats, but also an extremely giant one. It looked like one from the pirate movies Lucas likes to watch.
"SHADOW!? SERIOUSLY!?"
KillerShadow1126: How embarrassing, LOL!
It seems the dock was on top of the exact stream the waterfall connected to down the mountain, to the ocean. The boats were strapped to the dock so it wouldn't flow of. The big one was hanging on four giant chains so it wouldn't be lost. The boat was probably that important.
When they reached the bottom, the three looked around the dock system.
"I had NO idea there was a dock behind this ancient waterfall!" Lucas said.
"Me neither! I thought the one in Rhea Town was the only dock! What about you Elliot?" Cindy asked.
Elliot's eyes were shocked. "I-I... I feel like I know this boat..." She said, looking at the chained ship.
"Wow! You probably saw it on the ocean before."
"It's not like that, it's..." She couldn't make it out. She had no idea.
"This dock system was once used when we traveled all the way to North America and Australia. They would give us food to help us survive and have enough to help the island."
"They couldn't let us live on their plots?" Lucas asked.
"Sadly no. It would add to many people to arrange homes. It would be stressful. But we accepted living here. They still loved it when we would visit. Well... when we did visit."
"Why'd we stop?" Cindy asked.
"A storm hit our early ride from Australia to Hoskar. There were no survivors when the boats crashed. Only one survived and was rebuilt. After it was finished, it was expected to be used again. But, people got scared and didn't travel anymore. This made us have enough food to live. But our only farmers were dying and the island became very poor with vegetables. We were prepared to be doomed in the end. That end is nearing our time."
Cindy looked down sad.
"That's not why I brought you here though. I brought you here so I could give you something. I would like to give you this boat."
"WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!:o*W*!o_0(*#*(^&._.%)" Everybody... Shouted?
"Y-You... You're giving us the ship!?" Cindy asked, almost dropping her glasses from her face.
"Yes. I think I know what you need to do. Lower it down!" The president commanded the entire boat to fall into the stream. It slowly flowed through the water, to the other side of the waterfall. "Go. Now! Use the boat to travel the deep ocean to wherever this island is. Find him, and we will fix it all. Find him... Find Enzo..."
"Your stuff was all inside at the very start of getting down here. Go and kill him!" Emily said.
"Mom... We will make you proud." Lucas said. It was possibly the last words his mother will ever hear. "Let's go!" Lucas commanded Elliot and Cindy. They all chased after the boat to jump on it.
But the boat was too far for them to leap on top of it. It already partially went through the waterfall.
"We're not gonna make it!" Cindy said.
"Yes we are!" Elliot responded. She quickly grabbed Lucas and Cindy's hands and jumped. With her power, she teleported onto the boat. They appeared onto the boat and held tight on it. It crossed the waterfall and they all fell down stream toward the island edges of the ocean.
Lucas stood on his feet as the boat flowed down the mountain. "It's time. We'll restore the island's peace! We will have our old life back. We WILL kill Enzo! It won't happen again!!!"
