"Aren't you a little young? Screw it. Here." He hands me a glass of scotch. I gulp it down, the cool liquid stinging my throat.
"Another one."
"Okay, every question you answer you can have a glass." Tony suggests.
"Hey, I'm not an alcoholic. I don't drink 'till I'm drunk either." I state.
"Okay, every question you answer is half a glass..."
"Deal." I lean back in the chair. "What do you wanna know?"
"I want to know why you have a suit." He says.
"Well... I wanted one, and I was capable of making it so why not." I shrug and wait for him to pour me some. Once he does he asks another question.
"Why were you stalking me?"
"I wasn't 'stalking'. I was simply observing you creepily over a period of time." I wait for him again to pour more but he doesn't.
"You still didn't answer my question." He says plainly.
"I know. I was trying to avoid it. I was doing that because... I-I like the Stark tower. And I wanted to see the... Avengers..." I lie.
"Okay." He says simply as he pours the other half of the glass.
"Any other questions?" I get up ready to go.
"You can't leave, kid."
"Watch me." I glance over to the open window. I look back at Tony before running straight to the window. I jump out and close my eyes. "AVICS, Now." I motion with my hands and I see my mask falling towards me. My mask forms to my face and I push the button, and then the rest of the suit forms to me. I try to stop using my boot thrusters, but they won't work. I really need to fix that problem. I use my hand repulsors to slow me down. That's going to hurt! I slow down a lot before landing in something hard that is not the ground. I hear an oomph before that person talks.
"Tony? I don't think your suit works..." I hop out of that persons arms before turning around and seeing Steve.
"Steve?" I run away and take my suit off where he can't see me. I walk back to him.
"Adeline?"
"Hi..." I shove my hands in my pockets.
"What were you doing?"
"I-I was... nothing. What are you doing?"
"I was going to go to Stark Towers... But somebody fell out of the sky." He smiles.
"You caught them?Your arms are-" I feel his arm, "bulky. Strong. Damn." He chuckles.
"I'm sorry?"
"No,no. That's... hot." Wait! What, did I just say?!
"Well thank you, ma'am." He nods and starts to walk away.
"Wait!" I grab his arm, "Do you wanna hang out sometime?"
"Hang?" He raises an eyebrow.
"I mean like go to a movie or something...Or not. That's okay. I would understand." I rub my arm.
"Yeah, that sounds great. Do you need my number?" He asks.
"I don't think so. I'll probably find you on the streets again."
"I guess your right." He chuckles and rubs the back of his neck.
"Bye, Steve."
"Bye, Adeline." He walks away smiling and I do the same. Ugh. Why is he so perfect?!

I walk back to the hotel and straight to my room. I put on some pajama shorts and a oversized tee shirt. I crawl into my bed with a book.
To kill a Mocking Bird is my all time favorite book... I've read it three times before and my favorite quote is probably "You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view... Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it." That or "It was times like these when I thought my father, who hated guns and had never been to any wars, was the bravest man who ever lived." Those mean so much to me. I don't think Steve has read the book either. He would probably like it. I finish a few chapters and then decide to go to bed. I turn the light off and lay back down. I stay awake for half an hour before actually falling asleep.
