CHAPTER 48

AUTHOR'S POV

"Right! This logo will go well" Vikram said and Arjun nodded

"Just try to add a few more details which the team suggests !" Vikram said and Arjun nodded his head yet again and sat on the stone bench with his laptop on his lap busy working.

The election campaign was on in full fledge, the college elections did not have must participants except Vikram, Madan and an arts department guy!

Vikram knew it wouldn't matter must even if he lost the election something was pressuring his blood and brain!

Maybe it was Madan and his cheap tricks to win that made Vikram's blood boil or that short girl who was wandering around the college looking like a lost kid from the past two weeks

Vikram knew he was overreacting by not talking to her or maybe avoiding her but then he just did not like sharing his favourite human being with anyone else and that was the matter.

Here, Sitting in the classroom Aishwarya pulled her hair into a bun looking around hoping to find someone who loved her hair more than she did.

The class was almost ending and still, there was no sign of Vikram! It was their club, he is the head but he was not here to the class.

Aishwarya knew it must be the election campaign stuff but a part of her overthinking brain said he missed the class just to avoid seeing her and that made something from her ribcage drop to her tummy!

Sighing she stood up packed the bag and wrapped the floral dupatta which matched her pink pants and white top - around her shoulders, she started walking out from the class to the garden area when her eyes just like a magnet found her ram! Her lips stretched into a wide smile and she grabbed her bag and ran as quick as possible to him.

CHAPTER 48

AUTHOR'S POV

Vikram and Arjun were still trying to get the logo done and Arjun noticed Aishwarya running towards them and a smirk played in his lips as he pulled out his phone.

"Give me a minute Vikram! I got to call someone" Arjun said and Vikram nodded looking through the flyers

"Hey Ram" Aishu said as Vikram looked up from the paper, two weeks had passed this for the first time he saw her face to face and Vikram felt like a wave of oxygen hit him.

"Hey Dev" Arjun who sat next to Vikram said as loudly as he could Aishu stared at him in disbelief

Ignoring him she looked at Vikram who stared at her face without blinking

"You did not show up in the club?!" Aishu asked though she knew the answer, she wanted to just talk, hear him talk.

Something in her wanted him to tease her like he always does and roam around the college campus just like old times

"Was busy with stuff" came a reply looking through the papers

"Right yes! The banana milkshake is the yummiest there!" Arjun on the other hand filled the silence making Aishu want to break his head open and check if he had a brain.

"Right! Hey are you joining the eco club park activity?" she asked

"Nope! I won't " he said not lifting his eyes from the papers

"God!! That was so mean can you say it again?" Arjun said pretending to be on the call

Now it was Vikram's turn to stare at Arjun in disbelief! And Aisha was looking at Arjun and Vikram not getting any more questions or topics to extend the talk

Arjun sat there in satisfaction of making Aishwarya feel how he felt when she called and interpreted his talk with Keerthana

A sudden notification from her phone and Aishwarya looked at it and sighed annoyed it was Madan!

Something she regretted badly was giving him her number and the next was her clumsy self dashing on him.

Vikram looked at the notification and looked down at the papers as if he did not care about the notification, as if that notification did not set his tummy on fire.

Aishwarya watched how Vikram did not seemed to care, leaving behind a part of herself she started walking away slowly.

Arjun sat there watching Aishu walk away and Vikram staring at her disappearing figure.

Aishwarya noticed a group of students around the office and it seemed like the chairman
Mr. Chakravarthy.

Aishwarya stood in the same place where she was and watched the chairman look extremely familiar to her.

That forehead and cheeks of his! She had seen it somewhere around but her brain failed to put it together.

She sat on the stone bench near the canteen and waited for Keerthana to join her.
Suddenly she felt someone sitting next to her and turning around she found Madan he smiled at her, and Aisha slowly moved away to the end of the bench.

Silence filled the place and Aishu swore to god that if her friends walked in now she would treat them to a KFC meal!

Luckily Keerthana walked towards Aishu

" aishu! Let's just grab a water bottle and leave" Keerthana said and Aishu stood up immediately
When she was stopped by Madan!

"She won't come! She is talking with me you continue your work please "Madan said and Aishwarya knew she had to put him in his place before it was too late

"Bro! What the fuck? Who are you even to tell me this?" Keerthana yelled

"You know what Madan! I- I kinda don't like the way you behave around me especially! You can't order nah control me or my friends! You're just my friend and I really hope we are just the same good friends we are till the end!" Aishu said and grabbed her bag before walking away with Keerthana leaving a shocked Madan on the bench

Vikram who stood watching these could not help but watch his lips stretch into a huge smile and his heart swell up in happiness.
