They were able to stay together even through out the war, Even after Napoleon's lies and betraying Lafayette. Mid way through the French War, Lafayette proposed to Y/N and they soon got married a month later, but sadly Mrs. de Lafayette passed away in 1830, four years before Marquis de Lafayette passed.
