Naruto arrived at ANBU headquarters, looking for Danzo. The moment he walked through the doors the secretary shouted.
"Danzo is in the training area with your new squad mates. Good luck; you're going to need it."
Naruto was sweating bullets. The ANBU at the front desk had never spoken before, and certainly never wished anyone luck... at least as far as Naruto knew.
Naruto opened the door to the communal ANBU training ground. Inside he saw two others throwing high-grade elemental jutsu and extremely fast taijutsu, just a slight bit faster than Naruto's own.
Naruto decided to join in on the training, and Danzo could tell. Danzo's smirk grew and Naruto sprinted full speed at him, pulling out papers as he ran.
He slapped both papers on his new teammates and kept running, beginning hand signs as he ran.
Danzo sent a full-force 'Vacume Release: Vacuum Wave' at Naruto, who simply sealed it into his palm, the result of the hand signs he was running through.
To the surprise of everyone though, he shot both palms out and a mixture of Danzo's jutsu and a stored 'Fire Style: Great Fire Ball' shot to Danzo, incinerating the area around him completely.
His teammates looked at him in shock.
"I thought they were related..." one of the ANBU spoke, seemingly male.
"They should be..." The other spoke, seemingly female.
"We are." Both Naruto and Danzo spoke at once.
Both teammates jumped out of their skin. In surprise.
"You haven't been around him much if you think he couldn't take that head-on, let alone simply evade it." Danzo nodded twice in confirmation. "The only person in this village with as much strength and power as him is Hokage-sama, and they're tied."
"Now Naruto, I've already told you Hokage-sama is stronger than me. I just use my strength more." The other two noticed he didn't deny being number two in the village.
"Anyway, I think I should introduce myself." Danzo put on a mask painted to look and the yin-yang symbol. "From now on, I will simply be captain or sensei. You may choose whichever."
Naruto put on his mask as well. His final gift from a weasel-masked friend. "I am Kitsune, I specialise in fuinjutsu and Kenjutsu. I have a special born gift that allows me to comprehend these subjects at an accelerated rate."
"I am Ant." The male spoke, his mask looked insect-like, mandibles included. "I specialize in Taijutsu. I possess the Akamichi jutsu." He lifted both arms slightly as ants, beetles, and spiders all crawled out of him. "Ants for punishment to Ken and Taijutsu users. Beetles for nin and genjutsu users, alongside tracks. Spiders for assassination."
"I am Carp." Her mask was a whiskered-scaled fish-type design. "I was born with a unique bloodline trait that gives me complete control over the elements. My jutsu will always be more powerful than another of the same type with the same chakra. I can't re-create kekkei genkai by combining elements." She pulled up her shirt to reveal her back. A massive burn scar was revealed.
"The backlash of using a forced swift release by combining lightning and wind." Naruto had theorized. Carp looked shocked for a second before sighing.
"Correct. The wind lost control, damaging the muscle but nothing beyond repair, the lightning however completely ruined my back." She sighed once more. "A reminder of my recklessness and a promise to never attempt it again." Naruto nodded.
"After we are discharged from private ops, I may be able to find a way to help using a mixture of seals and my kekkei genkai." Carp relaxed a little.
"Thank you, Kitsune." Carp relaxed her posture to one of contentment, a replacement for a smile in ANBU.
