Naruto and Kashono stood panting before the Uzushiogakure Gates, catching their breath from the sprint.
With Naruto's challenge and Kashono's responsibility eating at him, they arrived in around 2 hours.
From Konoha.
Two guards were about to stop them. "Halt-! Wait. Kashono?!" The guards are in utter disbelief. "If you're back then that means-!" They both look over to see a rapidly rejuvenizing young man.
"I'm Uzumaki Namikaze Naruto." Naruto smiles at the two.
"My god it's him! Yakuno! Tell Uzukage-sama right now!" The one called Yakuno disappeared in a flash.
"Was that body flicker or something else?" The question was from Naruto.
"It was the body flicker. Why?" Naruto smiled.
"I noticed that only a select few bother with it in Konoha. Is it the same here or used like the shunshin in Konoha?" The guard smiled wide.
"Questions are good. I think you're going to fit in just fine. My name is Ozuko, I'm Yakuno's brother." Naruto smiled back at the guard. "And to answer your question, it's used sparingly, but only because Uzushiogakure prides itself on mastering what we learn. If we can't master it, we rarely use it and move on." The guard smiles and Naruto sighs.
"Well, at least it won't become a lost jutsu. Let me know if we have any shinobi with a doujutsu. It'll help them learn and control it just like my grandfather did for me." The guards look at Kashono and he nods at them.
"There is one, but Uzukage-sama has to tell you about him." Naruto smiles and nods, ready and willing to wait.
It only takes a few seconds for Nagato to show up. Upon arrival, Naruto slams onto his knee.
"Uzukage-sama!" Naruto saluted. The four were in shock. They expected Naruto to be much like he is with Hiruzen.
"None of that, Naruto. I won't have anyone that hasn't done evil kneel."
Naruto rose from his knees and smiled. "Thank you for your humility." Naruto gave a slight bow. "I was wondering if I could meet and train with those with doujutsu like myself." The Uzukage nodded.
"There are several doujutsu users in this village. One however is quite the fan of yours!" Naruto gave his signature foxy grin and rubbed the back of his head. "Let me take you to him."
The two flashed away, Naruto following his new Kage.
"This is Ranmaru." Nagato stuck an arm to a boy with deep purple hair.
'He's just a bit younger than Konohamaru...' Naruto smiled and waved to Ranmaru. "It's good to meet you Ranmaru. My name is Uzumaki Namikaze Naruto." Ranmaru's eyes sparkle.
"Uzu-jiji told me you might visit Uzu! I'm glad!" Naruto beams at the boy, happy to be acknowledged.
'Kid knows how to make me happy...' "I'm not just visiting, I'm here for good. This is my new home, and if things go well..." Naruto looks over to Nagato, who nods. "I'm gonna be your new sensei."
Ranmaru practically explodes from the news. 'My heroes teaching me! MyheroesteachingmeMyherosteachingmeMyherosteachingmeMyheroesteachingmeMyherosteachingmeMyherosteachingmeMyheroesteachingmeMyherosteachingmeMyherosteachingme-!' Ranmaru was interrupted from his thoughts by a hand on his shoulder. I was Nagato.
"I'm a lot like you Ranmaru. I have special eyes too!" Naruto kneeled on Ranmaru's level and activated his Moyogan to its most advanced state. Ranmaru started his own eyes on instinct. "Your eyes are a lot like eyes I've seen before!" Ranmaru tilted his head.
"But only I have these eyes." Naruto nodded his head.
"That's right. Your eyes are special, but they're a lot like the Byakugan." Ranmaru's eyes widen and Nagato grew stern quickly.
"Are you sure?" Nagato was the first to speak.
"Yes, I've peered into the eyes of Hinata Hyuga and the pattern in their pupilless eyes is the same." Ranmaru's eyes widen and Nagato grows rapidly concerned.
"I'm a Hyuga?" Naruto shakes his head.
"There was a legend long ago about the Rikudou Senin having a brother. The Rikudou senin had his mother's grand eye mutated into his sockets, but his brother inherited her mother's mortal eye. The Rikudou Senin passed the Rennegan and the Sharingan, but his brother was said to have pale eyes." Nagato was shocked that Naruto knew this.
"The Hyuuga have always believed that those eyes were the Byakugan, but in reality, the Byakugan was a side product. The Namikaze clan has known the truth since the legend was passed down."Nagato was shocked at the news.
"Who-?" Naruto cut off Nagato.
"My Grandfather told me of a set of eyes rivaled only by the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan and the Rennegan, alongside what I believe to be the final evolution of my own." Ranmaru nods. "The eyes you possess now are known as the Sōseijigan. It means the twin eye." Nagato grows confused as does Ranmaru.
"Why twin?" Both say at once.
"It has the characteristics of both the standard Sharingan and Byakugan. If a village had a clan with a mere chance to unlock those eyes then that clan would reign supreme over any village other than Konoha." Both grow surprised.
"This, however, is not the eye's full potential." Both grow wide-eyed. "The final evolution of your eye is the Dairisekigan. It means the marble eye. You would be able to see and instantly understand all chakra the way it moves, ways to harness it..." Nagato grew wide-eyed, and Ranmaru was just confused.
"If he unlocks the eye then-!" Naruto nods his head.
"Then he'll have the potential to become the greatest Senjutsu user since Sage's bother." Nagato takes a sweet and contemplates a lot. "If we want Ranmaru to live the life he wants this needs to stay a secret. I will not only be Ranmaru's sensei but also the sensei of the next youngest dojutsu user."
The two were left speechless while Naruto was already sketching out Ranmaru's training in his head.
"Come on, that's a very very long time from now. We should announce my arrival. I heard from Kashono that I was expected." Nagato smiled.
"Well naturally, you're heir to the Uzumaki clan and the Namikaze clan head." Naruto let out a sigh.
"Of course I am... I'll need to make a few permanent clones..." Nagato smiled.
"Come now, I'll take you to the square." The shinshinned again.
