Naruto led the few thousand people down a long path, killing the few foolish bandits that attempted to rob those that strayed too far from the path. Naruto walked up front, talking to the Sandaime.
"So, Kakashi-sama, why don't you tell me what you would like to do in Uzushio?" Naruto smiled at the elder, feeling the conflict in his heart.
"I'd like a much slower pace than ANBU, but still meaningful... I don't want to work alone." Naruto smiled and clapped his hands once.
"Have you considered teaching? I am a teacher. It's quite fulfilling to watch students train and grow no matter how small the growth." Kakashi raised a brow.
"You have students? You seem quite young to teach... No offense." Naruto chuckled.
"None taken. Young teachers are rare in this world. Iruka Umino is a prime example of 'young teachers' in this world. I'm sure jaws would drop if a 15-year-old boy was a teacher." Kakashi chuckled a bit.
"I was Jonin and ANBU at 15, I'm sure I've seen crazier." Both Naruto and Kakashi were chuckling at some of the things ANBU had shown them.
"Anyway, if you do decide to become a teacher rather than an administrative figure, talk to Nagato. I'll give you my recommendation." Kakashi nodded and gave small thanks.
"I'm just glad I can retire from fieldwork. I've seen far too much for my years." Naruto nodded.
"I respect it. Work like what I'll need to do to Kumo and Iwa is never easy." Kakashi grew rapidly shocked.
"Uzu is-!" Kakashi stopped himself and began to whisper, he didn't want to cause panic. "-going to war?! I thought that Konoha was the work of the Daimyo?"
"It was... partially. The thing is I would've done that anyway. I've already contacted both Daimyo of Cloud and Stone respectively, neither will assist, but both will simply allow me to do what I must." Kakashi was shocked.
"Those prideful, arrogant people OK'd that?!" Naruto nodded.
"I took out an army of over 5000 Shinobi, not a single one weaker than Genin. Two were Kage-level fighters. If I would be put into ranking, I do think I would only be on the level of Kage or above." Kakashi was shocked.
"That... that was you? I thought that the Uzukage was the one to repel the forces." Naruto nodded his head.
"The army was 10000 strong. Uzukage-sama reduced that number to 5000 while severely wounding several high-grade shinobi." Kakashi grew shocked for a brand new reason.
"If he wanted to... could he have destroyed everything? Konoga, the Nation of Fire, all of it?" Naruto nodded.
"I'm honestly terrified of what kind of monster he would be as an opponent. Powerful summons, attractive and repulsive power, chakra vision, control over anything chakra, power over souls themselves... I'm sure if he truly wished to he could kill anyone with well-timed use of his powers." Naruto smiled, glad to be following someone he couldn't surpass so easily.
Kakashi shivered slightly but then let out a content sigh. "It's good to know I'll be working with a Kage that can protect his people. I haven't had that since... sensei." Kakashi let out a small sad smile. Naruto put a hand on Kakashi's shoulder.
"Tou-san would want you to move on. It's about damn time you worry about yourself." Kakashi let out a sad sigh.
"True there, Naruto. Maybe a change in environment is just what I need." Naruto smiled and put and continued walking.

It had been one day. The pace of the crowd kept speed at normal caravan levels.
