"8, 9, 10. huh, that's a plenty" Iris looked at the killer rabbit corpses she had just killed in the forest.

"I should sell these to the nearby town's adventurer's guild" Iris tying the rabbit corpses to a stick using their ears and carried them on her back alongside her bow, quiver and her bag.

After walking for a while, Iris saw an old man riding a wagon drawn by horses on the forest path.

"Are you a merchant?" Iris asked "Oh, an elf" The man observed Iris' pointed ears "Yes, I'm a merchant going to Caldevlen town" The old man replied.

"If I may, I'd like to sell you some of my game" Iris showed the corpse of the killer rabbit she was carrying.

"Alright. I'll buy it for 300 Aurum".

"Thank you" Iris accepted the money from the merchant while the merchant put the corpse of the killer rabbit that Iris had brought into his wagon.

"Wait, you said Caldevlen town? Is it nearby?" The blonde woman realized something "Yes, it's about 3 or 4 kilometers west of here" The merchant pointed out the direction.

"I can stop by that town for the night" The elf thought "well, thanks for doing business with you!" The old merchant began to continue on his way.

"You're welcome!" Iris watched the merchant drive his cart away.

"Before nightfall, I have to find Heather's whereabouts!".

Iris walked deeper into the forest.

"ng?" After walking for a while, she saw an overturned carriage with the corpse of a headless coachman lying next to it.

"What is this? An accident?" Iris observed the carriage "May your spirit rest in peace" Iris prayed to the headless coachman's corpse.

"Excuse me" Iris started to open the carriage and saw the corpse of a man with a spear stuck in his chest "oh my gods".

"So it wasn't an accident. Was this carriage robbed by bandits?" The blonde elf speculated.

"Hm?" Iris saw a piece of ripped green cloth near the man's corpse "This cloth is very soft, probably made of silk" The elf rubbed her hand on the cloth "It's impossible for a casual clothes worn by peasant or regular citizen to be made of silk. so, this probably a piece of a luxurious dress, that means there was a female, wealthy passenger on this carriage, but she's gone" Iris tried to use logic on her observation and analysis of her surroundings.

Iris started to move and check the baggage of the carriage "What's this?" The blonde woman saw that the carriage's luggage was still neatly tied up "There's clothes, some furniture, and even the money these people were carrying are still on this train, so this isn't the work of bandits".

"Who would want to attack a carriage, yet didn't steal the money and valuables, instead only kills the men and kidnap its female passengers?" Iris wondered.

"Orcs" The elf concluded.

"Does that mean there's an orc nest nearby? Is Heather there!?" She got excited.

"Ah..." Iris saw another piece of green cloth stuck on a tree branch "It's that way" Iris began to follow the trail of the green cloth.

"Yes, these are indeed orc footprints" Iris looked at the footprints left on the ground near the green piece of dress "Just follow these footprints then".

"It's huge..." The blonde elf finally arrived near a tall wall made of wood "This must be their nest. I should check it out" Iris walked silently while approaching the place.

"A cool wind breeze..." Iris who was on the lower side of the nest began to cast her wind magic and made her fly into the air.

Once she high enough Iris tried to peek inside the nest.

"kyaaa!"
"No!"
"Gyahahah!"

Iris saw a number of naked women from human and demi human being raped by orcs. On the other side, there were some orcs roasting and eating human limbs "oh my gods".

"Hm?" Iris observed a naked girl being taken out of a luxurious-looking wooden building "Is that where they keep the women they kidnap?" She thought.

"Heather might be in that building, but I can't attack this nest by myself" Iris thought "That merchant said there's a town nearby, if I'm not mistaken it's called Caldevlen, right? Maybe I can recruit a party of adventurers to help me attack this nest" Iris concluded.

She jumped down and began running to the direction of the town.

"I want to make a quest of orc subjugation" The next day, Iris spoke to the receptionist of the adventurer's guild "We're deeply sorry, but orcs are powerful creatures and should be exterminated by royal soldiers. So we doubt that your quest will be taken up by adventurers" The receptionist told Iris her doubts.

"Then I'll recruit a temporary party! I need to rescue Heather as soon as possible!" Iris started writing on the board and shouted to recruit adventurers.

"A party of at least 4 people is needed! Help me attack the orc nest!" Iris shouted for help.

"Orcs, huh?" A bald man looked at Iris' board.

"They're too strong, I'll pass" commented a male adventurer.

"I can't give up! Heather must be in the nest!" Iris offered a number of passing adventurers.

"Hey, it's them!"
Right! It's Akira and her party!" A number of adventurers began to crowding the building's entrance.

"Gyahaha! what an idiot slave!" After a while, man's voice was heard.

"Hey, stop it!" A girl's voice was heard after the man's laugh.

"Even though she's a slave, she's still a member of our party!" Another girl's voice was heard.

"Colette!" Another, other girl's voice is also heard.

Iris ignored the people gathered at the entrance and the voices and kept shouting for help.

"Oh, sounds interesting" A brown haired woman heard Iris' request "Would you like to? Unfortunately this isn't a quest so I can't guarantee that you will be rewarded" Iris said "Maybe that's why no adventurers want to help me".
