"Haah, I've made very little money today" Commented Ashley who was sitting in the waiting room of the Colceth city adventurer's guild.
"Should I look for a quest with a big reward? But I can't possibly do it alone" Ashley start to think.
"And if I join another party, then the quest reward should be split between all party members".
"aaah! What a hassle!" Ashley was getting frustrated.
Suddenly, there was a man's voice shouting so loudly that it could be heard throughout the adventurer's guild building. Ashley included.
"I am the mayor of Colceth city, Lawrence Decimi would like to make an emergency quest".
"The Mayor?" Ashley was curious.
"My scouts has returned from a surveillance mission on the city's outskirts, they informed me that today there will be a large number of Elite Slimes about to attack the city. I want all capable adventurers to accept my emergency quest"
I see" Ashley start to focus on listening on the man's talk.
"The guild and I have reached an agreement. All adventurers who successfully kill an Elite Slime can keep its core and can be sold in this guild for 100 Aurum per core".
"100 Aurum!? That's so much!" The red haired girl is surprised to hear the selling price of Elite Slimes' cores.
"If I kill just 10 Elite Slimes, I can get 1000 Aurum! If i kill 100, then I got 10.000 Aurum! I can't miss this opportunity!" Ashley excitedly head to the outskirts of Colceth city with the other adventurers.
Ashley arrived into the outskirts of Colceth city along with other adventurers. She then unsheathe her sword.

After a while, a number of Elite Slimes arrived at that place.

Excitedly, a number of adventurers rushed over and scrambled to attack the Elite Slimes.

"The total Elite Slime core sold by Akira is 100 pieces and is the most slime core collected by a single person that participate in the Elite Slime extermination quest today. with this she's deserved to get 10.000 Aurum"
A guild receptionist announced the number of Elite Slime cores collected by a certain brown-haired girl.
"What? So I'm not the one who collected the most Elite Slime cores?" Ashley was shocked in disbelief.
"For the second most Elite Slime core collected by a single person that participate in the Elite Slime extermination quest today, with a total of 80 pieces, collected by Ashley. with this she deserves to get 8000 Aurum".
"The difference is just 20 slimes" With a defeated tone, Ashley accepted a small chest of gold coins from a guild receptionist.
"Listen up!" Ashley then start walking towards the brown haired girl that managed to kill 100 Elite Slimes and talk to her.
"I don't care if you want to take me seriously or not. but from now on, you are my rival!" Ashley pointed the girl using her right index finger before leaving the guild building.
"eh? eh?? eeeh!?" The brown haired girl was dumbfounded after hearing what Ashley just said.
