Sean's POV

I knew that Mark was much too focused on YouTube, but I was really lonely when he was making videos. I knew there was only one solution to this problem. Mark shouldn't be bothered by it at all.

As I made my way back to our apartment from town, I tried to keep the cage I was carrying steady so the little surprise inside wouldn't wake up and make a bunch of noise. That would be annoying for everyone else walking by me. I got back to Mark and I's apartment and walked inside. I set the cage down gently and called Mark into the living room.

"Mark, baby? I have a surprise!" I called out. He heard me, and soon appeared in front of me. He smiled so big when he saw me. Then he looked down at the cage. He then looked back up at me and knelt down next to the cage with a shocked look on his face.

"Sean... you didn't..." he mumbled softly as he opened the cage. Inside was a little dachshund puppy. (A/N: For those of you who aren't familiar with dog names, a dachshund is a wiener dog.)

I saw the happiness in Mark's eyes as he lifted the little puppy out of the cage and held it close to him. He stood up and looked at me with the biggest grin on his face.

"Sean, I love it, but how are we going to have time to take care of it with both of our YouTube channels to take care of already?" he asked. He rubbed the puppies head as he spoke, and I could tell the little pup was getting sleepy again. I smiled at the both of them.

"I'll take care of it." I responded as I walked over and started petting the puppy as well. Mark looked down at the puppy cracked a small smile.

"Well, if we're going to keep it, it's going to be a team effort. Is it a boy or a girl?" he questioned curiously.

"It's a girl." I answered, as I petted the puppy some more. She whined a little
bit.

"Well, I guess we'll have to settle on a name then." he said. I looked him straight in the eye.

"Lily." I said flatly. He gave me a weird look, but then a look of joy replaced it.

"I love it." he chuckled as he set Lily down. She sniffed around for a while, and then she ran off. I decided to get her food and water set up in the kitchen. Mark followed me and helped me with Lily's food and water. As we got done, I stood up and Mark took my hands in his.

"I really needed this, you know? I've been making too many videos lately, and I needed something to take my mind off of YouTube. Lily was the perfect distraction." he smiled as he looked at our intertwined hands. I blushed and looked up at him.

"It's the least I could've done. I was getting a little lonely because you were so busy making all those videos so I guess I needed some company." I sighed, and he brought our hands up to his mouth and kissed them.

"Thank you for pulling me back down to Earth." he laughed and I started laughing too.

"Just promise me you won't ever get that caught up in videos again, okay?" I said. He nodded and I hugged him.

It felt good to hold him in my arms again.
