Azriel
We woke up at the crack of dawn, both of the high lords looked grumpy at the early hour, and only Cassian and Zaria looked like they were functioning, Zaria was the only one excited for this journey.
Rhysand decided that we all would go and keep the ladies here in case anything went wrong, they would leave for Velaris in a few hours.
Cassian and I were dressed from head to toe in steel and leather, both of us looking like the Illyrian warriors Rhysand needed today, he preferred to wear his regal clothes disguising him as non-threatening, and Helion was the same, yet he would not be joining us because no one was there to look after his territory for him, Zaria was the only one who wore a simple legging and tunic not bothering with steel only the sword on her back.
"Good Morning!" Eos, the healer who healed Zaria said as she came into the room, she had bags on her shoulders and a relieved smile painted on her face.
Zaria turned to her with a matching smile, walked towards her, leaving Helion's side, and kissed her brow, "You have helped me so, Eos" She said and the lady smiled at her in thanks.
"I'm ready to go home, Lady Zaria" She muttered, hanging onto her bags like they were her life-line, "I'm ready to see my husband again"
"Then let's get you home to Adarlan, Eos" Zaria bowed to her in gratitude and turned back to us, "We have to go to a clearing," she said to Helion who nodded and turned to walk out the door and the rest followed, Rhysand was quiet this morning, he couldn't bear leaving Feyre and Cassian the same with Nesta.
The sun was slowly rising along the shoreline, Helion and Rhysand winnowed us to a clearing far away from civilization, Zaria nodded at Helion who nodded back, "You come back in one piece, you hear me?" Helion said and Zaria nodded with a smile, she gave him a tight hug and he kissed her head and then winnowed back.
"Okay, Rhys, is it okay if I call you Rhys?" she looked back to Rhys and he nodded at her, "I want you to wrap this clearing in a ward, no one goes in, no one comes out" He nodded and followed her demand, "I'm going to gather my power for a few minutes then the portal would be opened" we all nodded at her.
"How does your power work?" Rhysand asked suspiciously, he spent half the night researching worlds and transport between them, he was scared but would not admit it, we all were.
"My power is like a well, I have to dig in it as deep as I can go to do complicated tasks," she explained "Normally my well has no end in sight because I'm Mala's blessed, but because of the asshole, my magic is weak so I need a few minutes to open a portal and we wouldn't land in Terrasen directly but close to it" Rhysand nodded and Zaria gave him a soft smile before she turned her back to us.
Her eyes were closed as she took multiple deep breaths for a long time, she unsheathed her sword that was burning with fire and slashed the wind with it, the world ripped open from the small, black slit she did and the wind began sucking in "Adarlan" She said and the slit turned colorful showing a city beyond the opening, "Let's go, people!" Zaria yelled and Eos stepped in, immortal calm etched in her movements, Rhysand held Cassian's hands and mine and stepped, it didn't take a blink of an eye to change our surroundings.
