Azriel

Helion and Zaria were talking lowly as the sun set, Zaria looked at Amren and me confused as to who we were, I excused myself as Amren started walking back to the night court's quarters, and I followed her silently.

Cassian's whining filled my ears as soon as I opened the door, Rhysand turned to us while rolling his eyes at Cassian, "What's wrong, boy?" Amren said taking a seat on an ottoman beside the door.

"I can't believe she thought I was Tamlin" Nesta sighed and threw herself on the bed, fed up with her mate "Tamlin!" Cassian wheezed dumbfoundedly

"He's been repeating it for hours" Feyre whined "Make him stop"

Amren chuckled as she replied "You look like him"

"Me!" Cassian looked baffled "I do not look like him, not one bit"

Feyre glared at Amren as we all laughed at the whining child in front of us "Do I look like him, Azriel?"

I held my composure "It's the long hair, Calm down Cas"

He huffed and sat at the vanity to hold his hair up in a bun, Nesta threw a hairbrush on him as he kept mumbling under his breath, it struck him in the head ruining his bun.

Helion stumbled into the door after a minute, "You" He said to me, I stood up and waited for him, Rhysand looked at him confused "Not a damn word about the mating bond, none"

The circle looked at us confused as they remembered what happened "What mating bond?" Nesta asked standing up from her spot in the bed.

"Zaria is my mate," I said, and gasps from Mor and Nes sounded in the room, "I will not mention it until she is ready, Helion" Helion nodded at me.

"It's just.., It's not my place to order mates apart or whatever" Helion started looking at me "Zaria Believes that Tamlin is her mate because my father convinced her ages ago that she would accept the marriage, and with what happened, she thinks the idea of mates is a cruel thing from the mother, she would resent you" I nodded sadly.

"I'll wait for her," I said and Helion patted my shoulder, "Dinner will be ready soon," he excused himself before we could ask him what she said back in spring.

"She's your mate?" Elaine asked from her place beside the window, I nodded.

"Congratulations, brother" Cassian said smiling at me, "Can you convince your mate that I'm not Tamlin?" I chuckled under my breath.

The sun was set now, the room was lit by fireflies running all around the ceiling, and All of my court were now dressed in their finest gowns and leathers.

The dinner bell sounded in the palace and Rhysand made his way to the dining hall, Helion was sat on the head of the table conversing with one of his sentries, who bowed to Rhysand and excused himself to leave.
