"MY NAME'S KABY MELON."the man introduces as Natsu, Happy, Lucy, and Zara sat across from his chair. The home was large and incredibly spacious, not really lived in, but gorgeous nonetheless. Kaby, seemed kind enough, him, and his wife who was standing behind where her husband was sitting. The old couple both wearing matching smiles. Zara fiddled with the hem of her skirt. She was nervous, but not out of fear. Her adrenaline was already pumping.
"He said 'melon.'" Happy chirps, drool slipping out of his mouth. Apart from Natsu, Zara had never met anyone more obsessed with food than Happy. His reaction was unsurprising, but still managed to earn a quiet snicker from Zara.
"Oh, man, you have a tasty name." Natsu adds, drooling as well.
"Quit being rude, guys." Lucy scolds as Kaby chuckles lightly.
They'd fallen into a rhythm quickly it seemed, Lucy taking on the role of the much more mature, levelheaded of the quartet. Natsu and Happy were and always would be Natsu and Happy. Zara still wasn't quite sure where it was she fit. She was a strong fighter, but a lot of times Natsu was the one that saved the day, mainly because unlike her, he never ever hesitated. For now she was still feeling like a bystander, but maybe that would change? Maybe she'd eventually become a key part of this team? Maybe she already was.
"Don't worry, I get that a lot." Kaby reassures, pulling Zara from her thoughts. "Well first things first, allow me to tell you about the job." Kaby continues "Go on." Happy beckons as Zara nods in agreement crossing her arms over her chest. "It's pretty straight forward really." the older man admits. "Duke Everlue has a book called Daybreak in his possession. I would like you to burn it for me." he instructs as Natsu grins, igniting one of his fingers.
