"RYUUJI?" ZARA'S CONFUSION IS EVIDENT THE SECOND A NEW SCENT PERMEATES THE AIR. Her eyes are wide as saucers as her nose begins to twitch, the familiar scent of the nineteen year old explosion wizard filling her home. She shoots to her feet, knocking things over in her haste to make it out of her closed bedroom. Mizaki's ears perk up at the name dropping from Zara's lips, as she too, shot to her feet, trailing behind the older girl as they ran towards the front of her house. When Zara's eyes land on the familiar tall, orange-haired teen her heart leaps, the noise almost echoing in her ears as a joy-filled shriek escapes her.
"Yuuji!" she shouts, but she stalls because Mizaki beats her to him, the small child leaping into his arms as he grips his cigarette with his teeth, arms moving to wrap around his sister as he held her in his arms.
"So much for the surprise." he drawls, just as deadpan and dry as Zara remembered him to be. He looked a bit taller, his hair was longer where it framed his face, and he looked older despite only a few months having passed. She missed him so much it was almost too good to be true, him standing right before her. Zara rocks on her heels, trying to contain her grin as she watched Mizaki interact with her brother. She could feel the love and adoration pouring right off of her. "Are you just gonna stand there and stare or are you gonna say hi to me, Miko." he finally addresses her, a smug smirk tugging on his lips as he turned from Mizaki to finally look at her.
"Ryujii." she says, no longer able to fight her grin as she slowly inches towards him. "How was your mission?" she asks, albeit coyly as she bows her head a bit.
"It was great, 15 million jewel to take down a group of dark wizards terrorizing a small town just outside Tekka Village." Ryuuji explains as Zara's jaw drops.
