"THIS COURTROOM WILL NOW COME TO ORDER!" Zara's eyes are trained on Yuuta as she's led into the courtroom. He was as handsome as ever, black hair sticking out in spikes, sharp green eyes brimming with emotions Zara couldn't quite pinpoint. This was the first time she'd seen him since she'd left Era, and she'd been so caught up in her jobs and helping Lucy get settled that she had been ignoring a few of his calls. She wasn't sure she was prepared for his response to her appearance here, but she didn't have time to tackle all her feelings. He's leaning forward in his chair, chin resting in his palm as he cocked his head to the side slightly.
Siegrain "was" to the left of Yuuta and was practically glowing as he looked between the dark haired boy and the platinum blonde in chains. "Before us is the defendant, Tzaraiya Dreyar. Please take the stand Ms. Dreyar." she instructs as Zara blinks. Tzaraiya Dreyar. That had never been her. Her expression sours. It wasn't a dig at her Grandfather by any means, Lord knows she'd do whatever she could to be worthy of being his family, but why did her entire life have to be reduced to a six letter word.
"It's Zara Himiko, actually." she corrects, but it seems no one cares about what she has to say. The frog woman lightly pushed Zara to where she wanted her to be. She tries not to trip under the weighted gaze of several governing officials.
"Tzaraiya Dreyar, you stand before the Council to answer to charges stemming from over ten cases of unparalleled destruction across Fiore by means of Sun Slayer magic. As well as the incident involving the dark guild Eisenwald. These charges include extensive damage to Oshibana station, the collapse of the Reeyusika Gorge Railway Bridge, and the complete destruction of the Clover Meeting Hall." Zara listens wordlessly, annoyed by Siegrain's gaze.
She wanted to slap the smug look off his stupid face.
Yuuta is hard to read, truthfully he always had been. But he doesn't seem to be enjoying her misery the way the blue haired asshole beside him seemed to. But he hadn't taken his eyes off of her since she'd come in. In his mind this was all a waste of time, what was the point they were trying to make? What were they trying to prove? It had to have been embarrassing, the way she'd been dragged away in cuffs in front of her family and comrades.
