Aether's pov

As i got home from the project, i immedietly ran to my room and flopped on my bed.

I remembered the events from earlier and now im screaming on my pillow kicking my legs, blushing like crazy.

"Starting today we are friends now"? THAT SOUND SO CHEESY, why did i say that??

I just told him hes my friend without hearing his decision, wait..

DID I JUST FORCE HIM TO BE MY FRIEND!??

My eyes suddenly widened as i kept overthinking everything now, panick rushing in my blood..god, what is happening to meee?!??

Before i could even scream again i heard my sisters voice

"AETHER IF YOU DONT SHUT YOUR ASS UP THERE I WILL COME AND PERSONALLY SMACK YOU WITH AN PAN" my sister lumine shouted across their room, ugh, so aggressive.

I just sighed deeply as i started to overthink again, but i quickly dismissed my thoughts before anything negative actually happens and i jinx myself.

I guess we will have to wait tommorow huh?

Timeskip

I got up from my bed and got started for the day, i then walked my way to school as i saw xiao leaning towards the gate waiting for someone..

As xiao saw me, he immedietly walked towards me...

Im gonna be killed aren't i?

"Hey aether!" Xiao said as he stands infront of me, looking above me since he is smoll, hehehe

"U-uhh hi..?" I said as i gulped "about yesterday.." xiao brought up which made me confused.

"Do you actually mean it..?" Xiao mummbled, looking at my eyes, i just nodded my head slowly, waiting for his reaction, "uhm..if thats so, would you want to walk with me on the way to our homeroom?" Xiao asked looking at the ground, his bag above his shoulders as he keeps looking at the ground, i suddenly felt relieved, i thought he was gonna slap me!

We then started walking, the silence was actually akward.

"How are you by the way?"  I asked, trying to make a conversation, he looked at me then whispered "im ok", well that was more akward but an improvement, i started talking to him about random topics and he eventually warmed up to me, gosh he is so cute...WAIT-

After a while we finally got to our homeroom, a lot of students were staring at us but we just ignored them then sat to our seats.

While we waited for the teacher to come, we were talking a lot well mostly me but he replies.

"Dude like im the one who always got the chores while my sister is just sitting there like a queen" i said as xiao was holding the urge to laugh.

When the teacher arrived she just said some homeroom things then eventually dismissed us to our classes, i waved goodbye to xiao then went to my scheduled classes.

As time passes we grew really close, we eventually became best friends! He was cold yet sweet, he is also very cute...but everytime i hang out with him or see his face, my heart skips a beat, i dont even know why....

But our relationship is getting really really good! We call each other nicknames we both think are corny, we crack up jokes, and we are basically inseparable!
