the mall (pt. 2/2)

Xiao's pov

I was just doing my own thing scrolling through tiktok until i got a text from my father, zhongli, to go downstairs.

I immedietly got up from my bed then sprinted all the way down stairs to find my dad just sitting there reading an newspaper, he finally noticed me then closed his newspaper.

"Ah, Xiao, can you get me some groceries and furniture at the mall? Ajax is busy with his work and i have an online meeting to attend to." My father said in his normal yet stern tone while looking at me with his warm smile, i just nodded, "Yes, father. Just give me a moment to change outfits" i said, he then nods and i went back upstairs into my room.

I entered my room and opened my closet to wear just some simple white t shirt which is tucked in with baggy denim pants and an black sweater vest with white stripes on the side, i fixed my hair and put on some red eyeliner and i then put on some nice white shoes then went downstairs to my father who was waiting for me.

He gave me some 30000 mora, "here, this is the list for the things you need to buy, and dont forget to come back before 8 pm!" My father said as i nodded, 'geez why so strict' i thought to myself as i grabbed the list and mora then nodded.

I left my home then booked an uber to take me to the mall.

After i got to the mall i first go through the grocery store and brought some snacks, chocolate, vegetables, meat, drinks, soy sauces, sugar, salts, and etc. I finished the grocery list and went to check out. The cashier finally gave me the plastic bags of groceries then i payed 2000 mora, which means there is still enough more for furniture.

I then went through the furniture aisle, i was checking out the toilet papers and deciding which one to pick until an sudden male asked me out for my number which i kindly replied to fuxk off by ignoring him then grabbed an toilet paper and went to the next aisle on the list.

After a few more hours i finally was done with the list and went to go check out everything. After that was done i put all the plastic bags onto a cart, put it in the watching over area, then with 1500 mora left to spare, i bought an mocha flavored milk tea then sat over to some bench.

While i was minding my own business sipping my milk tea, i found some random teen-friend group arguing then stopped, eh i couldnt care anyways but i saw an person staring at me, a person who is kinda familiar...

Oh it was aether, i then waved at him and then he looked like he has seen a ghost, geez, what was his deal? I then looked at the other person he was talking to and what a suprise! It was Venti.

Venti looked at me then waved, as he went over to me while Aether just stood there shocked.

"Heyy, hows my favorite cousin?" Venti said as he stood in front of me, Aether following him. He looked suprised when Venti called me his cousin, "You guys are cousins!?" Aether said in a suprised tone, "YEAH! This dude is my emo cousin!!" Venti said giggling, i just looked at Aether then side eyed venti as i look back at Aether then nodded. "Yes, we are related, we do look similar after all, but i guess im the better version!" Venti said showing off his looks while Aether just chuckled, "mhm, unfortunately im related to him. We dint really talk to each other much at school, since he is popular and has several friendgroups, i mean he tried making me join in one of his friend groups but i declined." I simply said as i continued drinking my milk tea, Aether looked at me in awe then smiled while nodding, "Sayy since your here now you should accompany me with my friend group! What do you know, maybe you would like this one! Since you and Aether know each other!" Venti offered, i was about to decline but i guess a little change wouldn't hurt..especially since hes in it...
