The gang opened their emails at the same time, as they clicked and read the message, the gang screamed in joy, excited and happy to see that they have passed, except for one...
Venti's POV
As i open my email excited, my smile turned upside down as my eyes widened at the message..
"We are very sorry but you wont be graduating this school year, try again next time!"
...
I could feel my heart racing as i started to hyperventilate, i could feel tears form in my eyes...
No..no, this cant ve happening! My whole life..my whole efforts, for nothing...
I closed my laptop as i quickly left Xiao's house, i ran as fast as i could, running inside my apartment as i close it.
Aether's POV..
I jumped happily as me and the rest well except xiao screamed in happiness, WE PASSED THE TEST!!
As me, heizou, kazuha, and even scara, jumped, Xiao just looked at us slightly smiling, wow, such an rare sight, as i looked at him smiling widely, i could feel myself blush.
He looks at me then stopped smiling, also blushing, hes so cute!
"Hey Venti what did you ge.." Before heizou could finish his sentence, our eyes widened as we couldnt see Venti anywhere.
"Guys..wheres Venti?" I asked in worry as they all look around their surroundings, "maybe he just went to the bathroom or something?" Scara suggested with an uncertain tone, "But his laptop isnt here!" Heizou shouted, kazuha immedietly dashed around the house looking for Venti, while Xiao's eyes widened in shock, paralyzed.
I felt an sense of worry in my veins as i saw Xiao stand up from his desk, all of us looked at him, "guys...i think i know where he is.." he said as we all looked at each other then stood up.
We all got out of Xiao's house to have a party search for Venti, as we look for everywhere, starbucks, the park, even at school, but he was no where to be seen!
"There is one place where he should be.." xiao mummbled, he then signaled us to follow him, as we ran into an apartment building, Xiao stopped his tracks at one door, i guess this is Venti's apartment building?
Xiao knocked gently, but no answer, xiao knocked the door again but this time more aggressive, "Venti, its us!" Kazuha yelled, yet still no answer..
We were getting more worried at the second, theres no possible way he..no..theres no way! Hes always happy, theres no way he would...
Scara just ended up pushing us away then pushed the door, the door opened suprisingly, as we entered, we could hear crying from the distance, Xiao instantly ran into an certain room, as we open the door, we saw venti weeping on his bedroom floor, tears falling down his cheeks, i could feel my heart ache seeing Venti like this, he is usually so happy and energetic, and hes my dearest friend, so seeing him like this just makes my heart ache.
"Venti.." Xiao mummbled as he slowly walked up to him, venti looking at xiao as he cried even more louder, "Venti, what happened?" Kazuha asked walking up to Venti, kneeling down as he pats his back, "i..i didnt pass..i wont be able to graduate!" Venti said as he cried even more, "oh Venti.." Heizou said in a pitiful tone, "im a failure! My whole life is ruined! My reputation.." Venti mummbled as he keeps breaking down.
Me and Kazuha comforted Venti by patting hsi back or hugging him while the other three are mumbling comforting words to him to sooth him down, as he starts calming down he eventually talked, "thank you guys..but, im a failure, how would you guys think of me now?" Venti asked, with sadness in his tone, "no no no dont say that! Your not an failure" heizou said, "yeah, and it doesnt change the fact that you are still the happy, caring, and sweet Venti we know and love.." scara said.
"Even if you didnt pass, we are still your friends, Venti!"
