It was finally lunch time after all of those boring classes. I knew that i wont have anyone to talk to so i just ended up eating lunch at the library.

As i finished eating lunch i went out of the library then walked through the school halls, and then some random seniors just took me into a corner then threw me on the floor. Geez why can't they leave me alone?

"Hey emo kid, what happened to the homework you answered for us? Where is it?" That one bug jock said. Dude i am literaly an freshman so why would they confuse me with an senior.

I just grumbled then ignored them, im pretty much malnourished so i dont have any strenght to fight back as i accepted my fate into beating me up.

That one guy kicked and punched me while the other was just cackling his ass off. What is this some kind of movie bully scene from the 2000!?

As i was getting beaten the shit out off, i heard an familiar voice..it was that new kid Aether!

Aether's pov

I immedietly ran to the area then screamed. "HEY! leave him alone!" I screamed while the 2 guys looked at me. Holy crap why did i try to do this- its my first day so i dont wanna seem violent or anything! Plus im probably more weaker than them so how could i..

Before i could think i just mummbled fuck it then ran pass through them, grabbed xiao by the shoulders, carried him bridal style (because I said so) then ran fast as hell.

Damn what did his parents feed him to be an lightweight- no offense or anything.

I quickly ran to the clinic, to see no one  so i just laid xiao on the clinic bed sitting, i then grabbed some bandages and alcohol to treat xiao's wounds

I just sighed and wondered why did those 2 guys beaten him up? And what did he do for those 2 guys to beat him up THAT badly?? As i was contimplating my thoughts i flinched as i heard xiao's voice, "Why..did you save me?" Xiao said in a cold and annoyed tone as i look up to him, i then smiled "ofcourse i saved you! I dont want you to be hurt and i think that no one deserves to be treated like that!" I said putting an warm smile on my face, he then looks at me slightly blushing.."heh, cute.." i accidentally mummbled which made xiao's cheeks turn even more red, "w-what did you say!?" He said in a whispery and flustered tone, "huh?? N-nothing, nothing!" I said in am embarrassed tone.

It was silence in the moment, until i heard xiao whisper something.

"Maybe your not as bad as i thought.." he whispered in a quiet and soft tone, his face flushed. I looked up at him in confusion then smiled "hm? What was that?" I asked in a teasing tone "h-huh?? N-none of your business!" He replied in a hoarse voice, harsh i guess..

After a few more minutes xiao is all patched up, i then got up and looked at him, "are you ok now?" I asked in a warm and soft tone as he blushes softly then nodded, "thank you.." he mummbled in a whispery voice as he looked away from me, haha thats so cu- NOPE NOT AGAIN!!

We then got out of the clinic and xiao said his goodbye then walked away, i just sighed then walked away also, walking through the school halls for my next class..hopefully i dont get loss..

Xiao's pov

I was a blushing mess, why am i acting so flustered around him?? And why is he so kind to me..

I look at my bandaged wounds as i smiled, an sigh letting out...

Maybe your not as bad as i really thought, Aether...
