Soulmates (Yoriichi x Muzan)

Muzan couldn't believe it... his soulmate... was a man?! Muzan turned his head to the side where the demon slayer was looking up at the sky with widened eyes. Was the demon slayer thinking the same thing as him. Muzan took the chance to slowly move away from the demon slayer but the slayer grabbed his arm firmly.

"You're not going anywhere."

Muzan pulled his arm out of the other man's grip and the man turned his head to look at Muzan. The slayer sat up and brushed some gravel off of his haori. Muzan didn't know what to do, what was the man going to do now that they were soulmates? It kind of made sense though, the soulmate mark being in the shape of a sun. The slayer's breathing style felt like the burning sun, though it was not pleasant.

The slayer sighed and pulled out a locket of some kind. Muzan sat up and glanced at the locket in the man's hands. Muzan couldn't make out much before the slayer shut the locket closed. But it looked like some kind of girl. The demon slayer turned to Muzan and gave him an icy glare. The man grabbed the edge of Muzan's shirt to pull himself and Muzan up to their feet. Muzan didn't make any sudden moves out of fear that the man was going to kill him. But if the demon slayer killed Muzan than he would most likely die also. same thing with Muzan if he tried (emphasis on tried) to kill the demon slayer.

"You're coming with me."

Muzan was so lost in thought he didn't realize the demon slayer was pulling him out of the village and on a stony path. "Look, I don't know what you're planning to do to me... but I won't go down without a proper fight!"

"I'm not going to hurt you, unless you try to hurt me."

"Then... why are you trying to kidnap me?"

Muzan tugged his sleeve out of the demon slayers hand and narrowed his eyes at him when the demon slayer turned around. "I'm not trying to kidnap you. You're free to leave, but it would be good for both of us if we weren't apart from eachother. We're bonded now you know? If bonded soulmates don't interact with eachother for ten hours then they get separation anxiety, and it'll just get worse as more time goes by."

The slayer put his hands to his side and started walking off. before stopping and speaking without turning back. "It's your choice, demon, though if you come with me I need your help with something."

Muzan looked down at the rocky path. He hated to admit it but the demon slayer is completely right. The toxin that Muzan created for his uppermoons only works with his uppermoons, because if Muzan used the toxin than he could lose some of his memories and someone could take advantage of him. Muzan took a small step forward, the demon slayer had started walking away again and his body was almost completely gone because of the forest trees covering him. Muzan knew what he had to do to live. If the demon slayer was telling the truth about not planning to hurt the demon then Muzan should have nothing to worry about.

Muzan started speed walking towards the demon slayer until he was right beside the slayer. "So... what's your name?"

"Yoriichi."

Muzan nodded and looked away. It was pretty rude of Yoriichi to not ask for Muzan's name in return. Muzan looked at the floor and clutched his face. Muzan wanted so badly to punch the demon slayer's head off right now. But Muzan couldn't, Muzan could commit suicide if Yoriichi dies. And... well Muzan saw how strong Yoriichi was. The demon slayer took Muzan down in wan measly hit!

Muzan huffed and crossed his arms unconsciously. Yoriichi seemed to notice the discontent of Muzan. Whether it be because of the bratty actions Muzan was doing while walking, or because of their bond. Because now that they're bonded Yoriichi can sense Muzan's feelings more. "Are you okay, uh... You know I already know your name right? I said it earlier, Haha."
