The Breakfast Club——————————————————————
" y/n's point of view "

I WAS SITTING at my desk in front of my laptop in my dorm. Stacie wasn't home, but Jesse was over.
He was sitting on my bed beside me as I showed him some of my different scripts, plans, written scenes, drafts and ideas. I would explain some of my thoughts on storylines or character arcs, and he would listen, nodding along.
"I'm sorry, I'm talking a lot, aren't I?" I apologised, closing off the different documents.
"No. No, it's fine." He chuckled and I closed down my laptop. "Some of those are really good."
"You think?"
He nodded before sighing. "Alright, look, I know you said you didn't like it, but..."
Jesse lifted his DVD of The Breakfast Club out of his backpack.
"Jesse..."
"No, I wanna watch you watch this entire movie. Beginning to end." He stated, taking his own laptop from his bag and getting comfortable on my bed. "And then I can die a hero."
"You have a habit of making yourself at home, you know that?"
"Yeah." He pat the side of the bed beside him and I moved to go sit next to him. He put the DVD into his laptop, opened the media player and started the movie.
I shifted slightly to make myself sit more comfortably, and my shoulder was practically touching Jesse's.
"I don't think we have enough time to watch the whole thing."
"Well, fine, but you need to see the ending." He skipped forward through the movie until it was the closing scene. He leaned over, switching the lamp off and moved closer to me again. "The Breakfast Club, 1985. Greatest ending to any movie ever."
"Ever?"
"Ever." He then continued talking. "This song launched Simple Minds in the US. Could have been a Billy Idol song, but he turned it down. Idiot."
I felt a smile tug on my lips. I loved how he talked so passionately about the movie, even if it wasn't a movie I liked.
"Perfectly sums up the movie. It's equally beautiful and sad."
I glanced at him for a split second before looking back at the screen. "That's... pretty interesting, I will admit."
"Right?"
"Okay, so, what do you think Judd Nelson eats for breakfast?"
"Oh, well, like all misunderstood rebels, he feeds on hypocrisy."
"Nice."
"And black coffee to help with his morning dumps."
